Just read the blurb about the book, "Mrs. Astor Regrets" this morning in USA TODAY.
I think it should be an interesting read. I love to read about the mega rich!

Brooke Astor lived to be 104 and was conned out of a good deal of money by her 84 year old son, who is about to go to trial for that dastardly deed.

Please report what you think if you read it.

GG I just finished Mrs. Astor Regrets and if I were you I would tell Santa to save his money. Maybe just get it from the library if you are really interested.
NOW....if you really want to read a good book about the rich and famous check out Consuelo and Alva Vanderbilt by Amanda Mackenzie Stuart. The story of a daughter and a mother in the Gilded Age. I promise it will fulfill your fantasies:)

Many thanks for your report. I will do just that immediately. I hope that the elves have acted slowly. Probably. I wasn't all that good this year.
