View Full Version : Trump encourages assault at his rallies

Trump cancelled his rally in Chicago last eve claiming the Chicago police advised it. The police denied that happened. From USAToday.com
Anthony Guglielmi, a police department spokesman, said the Trump campaign did not consult the police department before canceling.

"They did not consult us at all," he said. "The decision was made by the campaign on its own."
Nonetheless, he has been inciting the violence which is escalating at his events. When you tell your supporters that those who disagree with you are destroying the country and that in the good old days we would just beat them up. The protesters are the enemy and if you get arrested for attacking them I Mr Trump will take care of your defense. How can you not be held responsible for the exact behavior you encourage?

This direct connection between Trump's speeches and the behavior of his supporters is not just being made by the left, his remaining GOP opponents have made exactly the same charge. To see the increasingly angry pro-violence speeches Trump is making,

I love the old days. You know what they used to do to guys like than when they were in a place like this. They'd be carried out on a stretcher folks. That's true

I'd like to punch him in the face. I'll tell ya.

In the good old days they'd rip him out of his seat so fast. But today everybody is politically correct. Our country is going to Hell with being politically correct. Going to Heil.

Get him out. Try not to hurt him. If you do I'll defend you in court. Don't worry about it.

They jumped him (the protester). They were swinging and swinging. The next day we got killed in the press that we were too rough. Give me a break. Ya know, right? We don't want to be too politically correct anymore folks.

Get him out. Are these rallies the most fun? Get him out, Get him out. So disruptive. Remember when Bernie Sanders, they took the mike from him. That's not going to happen with us folks. That's not going to happen. Remember he walked away from the mike. He stood back and he watched these two girls talk to the audience. And they said we came to listen to him. And he was standing in the back. These two women took the mike. Now that doesn't happen to us. Get that guy out of here. Get him out. Get that guy out. Get him out.

In the old day this doesn't happen because they used to treat them very very rough. And when they protested once, they would not do it again. They get away with murder. We've become weak. Some rough guys like we've got in here. And they started punching back. It was a beautiful thing.

Part of the problem is nobody wants to hurt each other anymore, right? And they're being politically correct. So that's it. Our country has to toughen up. We have to toughen up. These people are bringing us down. Bringing us down. No reason for it. These people are so bad for our country. You have no idea. They contribute nothing. These are the people who are destroying our country.

Well done, you managed to distort this as well as any (liberal) politician. The Chicago police did NOT tell him to cancel, but they DID report the situation at the site, then Trump decided, and rightly so.

Gee whiz, his Republican OPPONENTS made the same charge---what a shock, chicken little, the sky must be falling

And then you go on to quote MSNBC. MSNBC, are you serious???

Meanwhile you gloss over the concept that the first amendment rights of Trump and 25,000 supporters were squashed by violent "protesters", who were organized by Move on.org and Bill Ayers--a felon and terrorist. Perhaps some group should organize to stuff a rag in the lying traitor Hilary's mouth. It would accomplish a long held goal of the far left---reduce air pollution and global warming.

What a long liberal rant! How many posts did it take for you to vent your liberal frustrations? Bet you were one of those Vietnam protesters that I clocked back in the 60's when you got in my face. Ah, for the good old days when the cops would grin and look the other way, while we cleaned up the street of the hippies. Not that I advocate violence... Funny how PC and the 1st Amendment is only valid when it comes to fruitloop liberals. They can't understand it when their nose gets flattened because they got close enough to someone that didn't appreciate their bad breath.

Tell you want, my pet liberal troll, when you get your commie government try protesting your so-called rights and see what that government does to you. I've seen some pretty tough cops and military in other countries. They didn't own kid gloves, just bare knuckles and big heavy sticks.

You should head to the next rally. I'll bet they could use a septuagenarian to bolster their ranks.

Thank you to both the replies. You have proven my point. You enjoy the thought of assaulting those on the left Oh for the good old days when cops would look the other way. And I did not quote MSNBC at all. They have compiled the videos. I quoted Donald Trump. So if you find the words reprehensible (I doubt it) those are his words, not those of anyone on the left, not those of MSNBC. As to how those on the left handle dissent without becoming violent. Maybe read what Trump said above about Bernie. Maybe see how the extremely disruptive Tea Party members were treated when that movement emerged in the 2010 town halls when they continuously shouted down and disrupted politicians of both parties. None were beaten, no politician that I know of called for those attending to assault those right wing protesters.

Bernie's boys are causing trouble at Trump rallies again. The Secret Service had to escort another from Trump's Ohio rally. Last night was another indicator of the socialist brand of Free Speech. It's OK for them but not for Trump to speak. They scream "hate speech" as they assault people and disrupt/close down the rally. I'm sure Bernie is happy that his "revolution" is working so well. What a 'tard.

Apparently you saw different. I saw Trump attempt to kind of push the agent a bit to move toward the idiot. I did not see him "duck behind" the SECRET (not secrete) service agent. Trump towers over anyone else, including the agents. I watched the incident several times, and each time it appeared like he was stopping the agent from moving him at first.

Gotta love the way Bernie's clowns talk about free speech and then attempt to stop Trump from speaking. What a bunch of idiots!

And I didn't even vote for Trump. But, he is ten times better than either Hillary or Bernie.

Wow, aren't you mature. Look kid, go tell your momma she wants you, or go play in traffic. Either way, Bernie will be proud of you.

All in the Family is 45 years old and it still is a point of reference that works.

When it came out, like a great many others in TV I was the Meatheads age and my dad was Archie's age. I don't recall anyone but my girlfriends father relate to Archie. It was the only show that stopped everyone on campus and put them in front of a dorm TV.

I guess in other parts of the country both parents and children related to Archie and Edith.

My dad was not a fan of the show. He was more the I Dream of Genie fan for reasons I've grown to appreciate.

Marco Rubio was at The Villages yesterday when he was interrupted by a protester who blamed him for stealing his girlfriend. It was handled in a way that made you like Marco. Here's the footage from USA TODAY:
