Food Channel Craving Alert!!!

Anybody know a restaurant or bakery that has Coconut cake. Specifically it's a yellow cake with icing between the layers. White icing and coconut on the outside?:2excited:

I saw it on Paula Dean on the food channel, it's a southern delicacy and sounds wonderful:icon_hungry:

Don't have the recipe but thanks for bringing back the memory. My Grandmother used to make a coconut cake, from scratch--yellow cake--fresh grated coconut and she used to use the coconut milk in the batter as well as in the icing. It was definitely a Southern recipe--small coal-mining town in Kentucky. I think the icing was the "boiled one"--mostly egg whites--would kind of harden --How delicious == did not realize what a treat it was at the time!!!
