To all who have made this particular forum a spirited exchange of points-of-view, Happy Thanksgiving!

This is truly the All-American holiday, and the history of this day is one of diverse peoples working together and appreciating each other's role in the making of this nation.

At our dinner tables:

- May we raise a toast at our tables to those in faraway places doing their duty so we can have a day of peace and togetherness.

- May we raise a second toast to those in the nation who are on duty, keeping watch over us locally and nationally.

- May we raise a third toast to those who have come before us and are no longer here. Their efforts have made this day possible.

May this Thanksgiving be all you wish it to be....

Thank You Steve.

I do have a lot to be Thankful for and one of those things are the wonderful friends I have made on TOTV. We are blessed to live in a country with so many freedoms.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving where ever you may be.

Thank you Steve. Those are excellent toasts and tomorrow we will be sure to raise our glasses for each one of them.
For me, I am so thankful that I can spend this Thanksgiving with my family that is located here in Florida for the first time in many decades and that they will all come to my house to enjoy our traditional Thanksgiving feast. My Mom would have been so happy if she were with us. Happy Thanksgiving, all my friends on TOTV....

Where else is the world can so many diverse, intelligent, funny, opinionated, thoughtful people come together and remember to say Thanks.

What a Country!

And remember, for all the bad news out there we still have so much to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Great post as usual SteveZ!

Mrs. GNU and I had an early Thanksgiving in the Villages this past Sunday, with family and friends. We're thankful that we were able to be in beautiful TV!

From cold and snowy western NY, I wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving. We live in the best country in the world, and have much to be thankful for.

I'm working at the firehouse today, but will be home soon for a turkeyfeast with all of the family. Sunday we will go through the woods and cut down a big Douglas fir Christmas tree we tagged months ago. The fireplace will be looking good when I go home in about an hour.......

Wish we were down at our Florida home!!!!!

God bless, Frank D.
