While at LSL tonight....walking around the square with some friends....we smelled a very strong, "funny" smell.....near the clock tower...:loco::oops:
Anyone else?
I have never smelled this at either of the squares before....

What are you talking about Cassie? Are there smells you know that I don't? Explain.

I was in the vicinity of the LSL clock from 5:30 for 2 hours and never smelled anything funny.

I was also around the clock for all the festivities. Can't say I smelled a thing, unusual.

Ahhhh Brownies. Chewy, chocolaty, fudgy, brownies. Some with nuts and some with chocolate chips and some with butterscotch chips, some plain and some with icing. I am looking at my tummy and remembering all of those yummy brownies I have eaten.
But I never inhaled.

I've smelled the wacky weed at LSL before, especially on vendor nights. I'm sure there are some Village people that indulge. :icon_hungry:
Not that I know what it smells like.

I have no doubt that anyone over the age of 16 knows what the smell of pot is...:sigh:

Goodness gracious! It is just a comment....
Here is my point...not sure why there is such an issue about my question !!
I was SURPRISED by the strong smell of marijuana that I smelled...along with several of my friends....right by the clock tower at LSL!!
That is my point! It is was interesting and wanted to know if anyone else smelled it! Apparently not last night....but several other nights!! I am not the only one!
Did I EVER mention anyone's name in regards to this!! I would never have mentioned your name or anyone else's....
I don't give a crap who does what....I was just surprised! :ohdear:
God Bless America!!!!!!!

Young lady you are getting yourself in deeper, why are you saying you never would have mentioned my name or anyone else's. Sounds like your intimating again. You should also clean up your language as a mother of a youngster.

I am not surprised. I have smelled that sweet scent many times during big events in the squares....it is our generations "heritage" for heaven sake...just cause we got older didn't mean we stopped smoking the wacky stuff. Course we never inhaled.:ohdear::pepper2::pepper2:

In California, I have free access to Medical Marijuana from any number of "collectives". I have several serious conditions that benefit from the wacky weed. Where in the heck am I going to go now that I'm moving to The Villages?
Laurie...
p.s. This isn't something that I've had to hide in my own home, BTW. But I'm not planning on taking spliffs out on my golf car. I just want the pain control.
