Has anyone had the look of the front of their house changed to a brick or stone? If so who does this? Is it expensive?

About a year ago someone else asked that same question on here and I just searched and found it was one of the regular posters that said he had that done to his home. It was Phanatic Luvr and his location shows St. James. Here's a link to that thread, he included most of the info you'll need, also here's photos he posted.

There were 2 done in my neighborhood (stone) and have to say it was the best improvement I've ever seen on a home here.

If it's just one big brick or stone it might be hard to find one.

I think it's a great improvement and look forward to see the same response your hoping for.

We would love to drive by and check it out. Can you post the general vacinity of the home?? The photos look great.

We are in a frame/vinyl home and have talked about doing some stone trim too. We're surprised that we haven't seen others around here. All we have seen is the new stucco with stone homes that are new construction.

Thanks John W and Asianthree! We love the stone we put on the front of our home. I also had it approved, so be sure you take it to the ARC before having it done. In my travels around TVs, I am seeing more and more putting stone on their homes. When we wanted to do it, there was hardly anyone. I called Burkee's BBQ on 466A and ask them who did theirs. They gave me the name of the gentleman I used in Apopka. He was great to deal with and didn't take a cent until the job was complete. It cost us about $4,200. Dottie, feel free to swing by and see our. We live on Sassparilla Way in St. James, last house in the cul-de-sac. Send me a message first, would love to meet you.
