My gosh, how can anyone actually wear a Trump or Cruz tshirt anywhere without feeling like a blustering fool. I guess i shouldnt be surprised as the GOP left no stone unturned with Obama, the nationality, the birth certificate, his religion, twking your guns ... Well welcome to the nightmare your party started with personal attacks and the lack of respect for the office of the presidency. The fight for your nomination finally did it, the wives, the affairs ... If it was not so pathetic I would sit back and just enjoy it. But instead of being ashamed you simply attack the president for not coming back to Washington for a terrorist attack in Europe. i guess Reagan not even stopping his vacation when Marines were killed in Beruit didnt count.

Party on Trump and Cruz supporters.

What I find surprising is the Fox News allegiance shift. I remember many people staunchly defending Fox as not being biased.
I also see the shift in the language. Locker room talk that all guys use is now perfectly acceptable anywhere.
I think people are angry because there kids or other young people they know are out of work or worse off then they were at their age. They don't know who to blame. We all know kids that have a BA, college debt and a crappy job. That's where a lot of my retirement money is going. What happened? My other children are doing extremely well.

Great post. One problem; you're using logic. Logic doesn't work with the fox viewing right wing wacko's in the Village (or most other places as well). They view the republican party as some would their home town football team. They're going to cheer for them no matter what they do. Unfortunately, they don't understand this is not a football game and we are/should be on the same side (The American People).

Maybe when we no longer have a black president they'll start thinking rationally........ah........ na. Scratch that. We'll have a woman president and if you think their panties were in a bunch now, with a black president, wait untill you see their behavior after Hillary is sworn in. Their heads will explode.:coolsmiley:

Gee I sort of remember that the spouse of the current Democratic candidate for President was impeached by Congress and he had his license taken away. Right after that he paid off one of his accusers of attempted rape $850,000 so she would go away. What were their names again?

You will think you are in 1996 again when all those women abused by Hillary and Bill come out of the woodwork in the campaign. It is going to be real fun to see and hear it. I am afraid Bubba might miss it since he looks like he is in bad shape . But that may be just to get the sympathy vote for Hildebeast. Bill may have to take one for the beast.

The difference is we had no idea that would happen. Bill was already elected. He didnt attack other candidates with names and comments about their wives or that he would carpet bomb countries.

No one has been vetted more than the Clintons ... But the GOP keeps trying to see what they can get traction on.

The question is still not answered. Are you not ashamed of Cruz and Trump ... Yet?

But no one answered the original question, attacking a president who has been out of office for 16 years has nothing to do with guys who are actually in the process running for president right now in your party. Again are you not ashamed?

Yes they both are showing it ... Not embarrased just disappointed. Well at least you answered it. I think Trump who has a favorablity rating in the mid 20s with women is going to have to do something to make up for that figure. There are not enough old white men or white rednecks to overcome those kind of negatives. It makes Hillarys negatives meaningless and another landslide for the dems.

You seem to be counting on a high turn out of Democrat voters for Hillary - many pundits don't agree. She will not have the Black turnout that Obama had, and many of Sanders supporters will not vote for her. How will Independents vote? Who knows? She may very well win the election, but a landslide, hardly.

Let's all give a round of applause for the original posters attempt to make it sound as if the dems are all dressed in white and do only what is above board with no shennigans.

That would be like prostitues re-defining being a virgin to mean any with less than 10 years practice is called a virgin.

Nice try.

All the women I know support Trimp. It is insulting to all women to suggest they are so disturbrd about some on line photos that they would change their mind about voting for particular candidate. The women I know care more about controlling immigration, trade, the economy and ISIS defeat. Please don't insult these women. It is Sexist to do so.

I just asked a question if you were ashamed of this wife fighting going on ... Saying the dems are dressed in white means nothing, trying to deflect your shame on the dems speaks volume. You ate ashamed and have only two courses of action, admitting that the two top candidates are incredibly embarrasing or attack the dems.

Oh my calling me sexist. We are way passed some on line photos on line now. Hel tg pictures were actually nothing, they were pctures everyone has seen before. It was the sniping of both candidates about each other wifes

I am glad you know some women in the 25 percentile.

Thinking a billionaire who himself has materials made off shore to sell in the US is going to have to do a little better in the Oval office than he has in his actual reality business.

Immigration. The guys hires and employed thousands of maids in Las Vegas at his hotel. You want to bet there are some illegals in the group. Immigration is the easiest thing in the US to fix. We dont need an unbuildable wall all we need to do is enforce the current laws to out their employers in jail for giving them jobs. Easy solution. No jobs no immigrants. Without a wall.

Just todays another high rankng ISIS officials was killed in an air strike. It will take time but invading Iraq and Afghanistan had no effect and in fact the terrorists got stronger.

But keep telling yourself Trump is the answer. He makes Cruz almost look almost average.

Hillary is actually out drawing Obamas 2008 primary numbers with black voters. If there are less voters it will only be because of the scenario Maricopa County, AZ pulled with making lower middle class voters wait in long lines.

A few questions...and understand, I am a life long Republican

1. When will Trump share his plans to accomplish those issues you mention ? He already has told TWO opted review boards he isn't going to do what he is telling you because he knows it is either illegal or unconstitutional.

2. Have you ever read this mans PERSONAL resume. He has, maybe, the single most dispicable record in treatment of women both professionally and personally.

3. Please review his stand on issues and as you read them, check off the ones that are legal and constitutional.

4. You do realize he has not a snowballs chance to beat Clinton ? He is the Only candidate that cannot beat her, including those he bullied out.

5. This run of his, taking a tv show into real life, and counting on people like you to simply accept platitudes and ignore reality will cost the GOP its majority in the senate and substantially reduce what is left in the House. He may be the death knell for the GOP

And as he has said a number of times....."if this doesn't work, I will still be rich"

There is no person that could do worse.

And anybody except Clinton or Sanders can and will do better.

So relax. After Obama is gone we will feel so much better we will not notice any issues with whoever wins and their learning curve.

Ok, let's tally the differences, since you apparently want a comparison or you wouldn't make your ignorant comments.

We supposedly have the Koch brothers= Americans
You have Soros = a communist (funds Obama and Clinton)

You say we have David Duke = racist fanatic
You have Bill Ayers = Domestic terrorist bomber

Seems like any way you look at it, at least our party can claim to be American. Your party is the party of slavery and dependence. Ours is the party of freedom, patriotism and independence.

Think I will stick with the conservative side. Never did like being a slave to the government and do not wish to start now. I would rather that they work for me, not the other way around.

What do you think you are? Try NOT paying your taxes, see how long you get to keep "your stuff". You ARE a slave, you just don't realize it.

None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who think they are free.

Ah, but a conservative indentured servant of the gov is better than a totally dependent liberal slave to the government. The difference is that the liberal slave says "please tell me what to do and take care of me so that I don't have to think for myself." The conservative says "let's have a smaller government, pay less taxes to keep it running, and leave me alone."

The conservative goes out in the forest, sets up camp, gathers wood for the fire, hunts for his meal and prepares it.
The liberal, wants to be transported to a hotel, maid service to clean up after them, and room service to provide prepared meals. And they believe that the wealthy should fund it for them.

so when do the tax breaks stop? How many models of failure do you have to see before you will realize it hurts the middle class. Check out some of the states, like Kansas, who thought cutting taxes and giving breaks to corporations. When it doesn't work see what the state cuts first, not the lower taxes that caused the problem, no they cut education, infrastructure, etc.

You're still a slave. You work and part of your production is forced from you at the barrel of a gun by government, and given to someone else, ultimately, a wealthy fat cat.

Government actively prohibits the "conservative" from going out into the woods and making his homestead. Don't you see that? Government is encouraging the socialists. Corporations want to determine where the money is spent...they don't want YOU doing it. Buy THEIR stuff, don't make your own is their goal.

Now, now, you're both right.

However, if you look at it, they are both rich. Even though Trump is a billionaire. He may have gone bankrupt four times, but you have to give him credit for still being a very rich many. Clinton, on the other hand left the White House so broke, that he had to steal about $20K worth of gov property. But, by very slick tax fraud, I mean manipulation he has made a few million bucks.

The topic of the thread was regarding GOP embarrassment. Will it ever stop?
Well, probably not. And I doubt the Democrat embarrassment will ever cease either. Obama is an international embarrassment that will take a conservative elected to nullify.

Unfortunately you have no qualified conservatives left in your race with a path to the nomincation.

Obama has only been a international embarrassment by Fox Viewers and the political right wing nuts. Comparing his results with GWBUSH is laughable. Bush was a disaster both foreign and especially nationally. He was great for his rich friends and defense contractors and oil people and if anyones picture for an embarrassment and crook should be in the dictionary under each word it is of course Dick Cheney.

You got that right. They've already started in on Hillary - can't stand her voice; she's unattractive; don't like the way she dresses, and on and on. Of course they wouldn't talk about a male candidate that way. I'm loving the day she is sworn in as president. :spoken:

Not one solid fact in your diatribe. He has employed many women in Important positions including a woman in charge of building his signature property Trump Tower when few women were in positions of power. The polls have been wrong all along. He was not given a "snowballs chance" to win any primaries yet he won 20. He will kill Hillary and take NY, NJ AND PA. Millions of Demicrats will also vote for Tru,p which is not reflected in these polls. Sit back and watch the fun. You fail to understand how a great negotiation works. Read his book , get educated and stop acting like a dufus.

Or, you can read one of Obie's books where he tells us how radical he was, how much of a dope head he was and tell us about his love of socialism. You can also see why he hates white people so much, even though it was the whites that made him what he is now, by subsidizing him all the way to the presidency.

Being black for the Obamas is little more than a convenience to use, abuse or hid behind when and where they see fit.

How willing are they to accept and use the trappings of the wealthy?

How willing are they to give away what they have to other blacks to bring equality to their race?

They are blacks in name only.

I doubt either one actually wrote the books. Yes, I have two of Obama's books for reference. I am very disappointed in his outlook as reflected by his supposed writing. I have never read any of Trump's books. If he is elected, I might. I am not interested in making deals, but I am interested in his bio IF he is elected. I am not sure that the RNC establishment will allow that to happen. They are doing everything they can, short of taking him out, to keep his from being elected. Voter be damned, the establishment is not going to allow it. They will not allow their power security to be threatened.

I find it interesting that some on here feel that resorting to Wikipedia is a credible source for their information. It has lots of flaws and should not be taken a sole source of research.

I am not interested in learning more about Trump because I do not support him. On the other hand, I abhor the Clintons and wish for Hillary to be incarcerated for her crimes against our great country and it's people. If given ONLY the choice of voting between Hillary and Trump, naturally I will vote for Trump. He is the lesser of two FLAWED candidates.

I did not vote for Obama and I do not agree with his ideology. He speaks very well "according to Harry Reid." But, I would not want more of the same.

I haven't tried responding this way so I'm not sure it works.

I understood what you are attempting to do with the quote, because you were trying to reply to each thought. There are a couple of different ways of doing it, but I got the idea.

I think you understand what I was attempting to convey. The point I was making is that we don't have much choice YET regarding our votes for president. It is going to narrow down to what happens at the convention. But, like I said, I do not care to learn anything more about Trump because I do not support him. His ideas, yes. But, he has a tendency to spontaneously erupt in verbal diarrhea. I do not appreciate his "honesty" when he speaks off the cuff. He needs a filter on his abrasive verbiage. I respect honesty, but there is a time and place for his offensive or better yet, colorful language. I do not question his loyalty to our country, even though I believe his loyalty to himself has top priority. I am not saying that Hillary is any different in that regard. But, Hillary is guilty (and I know what I am speaking of) of mishandling classified information, using a private server to transmit sensitive to highly classified information and allowing uncleared personnel access to classified information. All of that evidence has been plastered all over the Internet. She also lied to all of America by stating that the attack on Benghazi was caused by a video. I do not know how much she is complicit in not attempting to help the victims in the attack, but she certainly did not seem to be backing them up. The Clintons are also being investigated for possible tax fraud, which also concerns me. The Clintons are also guilty of grand larceny, which they got a pass on, when they stole thousands of dollars worth of gov property from the White House when they left. They were only required to reimburse the gov about a tenth of the worth. So, Hillary will not get my vote.

On the light side, I have seen quite a bit of Trump's wife. I doubt there is very much more that she can reveal to us.......:D

Trump has been blessed with multiple beautiful wives and girlfriends.

"Indeed, a wistful Trump fondly remembered Princess Diana in his 1997 book, The Art of the Comeback. "I only have one regret in the women department — that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer. I met her on a number of occasions," he wrote. "I couldn’t help but notice how she moved people. She lit up the room with her charm, her presence. She was a genuine princess — a dream lady."

"The Clintons returned about $48,000 in furniture, and they paid the government about $86,000 for other items."

That's actually more than I thought, but anyone else that would have been charged for theft would have received the charge of Grand Larceny, a felony. I have seen other gov employees receive a stiffer penalty for the same thing, except the gifts were of less value. It's nice to be exempt from prosecution.

Hillary has been busy too. She has been busy lying, stealing, and lying.

Bernie spent his first 40 years with no full-time job, trying to find himself. He did right some radical stuff, such as porno. I believe that I read somewhere that he lived out of his VW bus or something like that. I bet he lived off the generosity of others, thus the socialist gimmick.

Did I mention that Hillary was busy lying? Oh yes, she did have a time period where she was the president's wife. She spent her time keeping Bill out of trouble or defending him. She had to do that when they lived in Arkansas too. Now, Bill appears to be ill, perhaps some form of STD.

so when do the tax breaks stop? How many models of failure do you have to see before you will realize it hurts the middle class. Check out some of the states, like Kansas, who thought cutting taxes and giving breaks to corporations. When it doesn't work see what the state cuts first, not the lower taxes that caused the problem, no they cut education, infrastructure, etc.

You forgot bobby jingle and his tax cuts for the rich that were going to make Louisiana a utopia.

Also trump had a desire for his daughter, we can only surmise what it would be.
I think he said his daughter was so beautiful if I wasn't her father I'd be interested.

Who thinks like that?

And even if the last thing on his mind was anything of a carnal nature where is the filter that says "Maybe I should not share this thought that just jumped into my head with the rest of the world since it might be taken the wrong way." If you can't figure that out how can you expect to understand diplomacy?

Of course I think he knew exactly what he was doing. He was going to get a lot of free press with that statement. The fact that his wife and children might be embarrassed never entered his mind. He can always get another wife or fire his children.

Really? Is that the best you can do?? Hillary stood back and watched her husband have sex in the oval office. The Clintons STOLE tens of thousands of dollars worth of gov property when they left D.C. Hillary lied to victim's families. Hillary committed felony after felony, and you can only come up with something Trump said? I believe we know how the scale tips on this one.

You know I do agree with you somewhat & you made a great point about the home football team & I get a feeling you're Dem. but that's OK. The only thing I think the Rep. frown on is Hillary's policy's, they're exactly the same as Obama's & that's what the Rep. don't like. Don't know if you read the headline news on Yahoo or not, but the title to the article says, "Obama's next gift to Iran means breaking another promise to America". It says, "Iran financial resources well beyond the $150 billiion it's already pocketed under the nuke deal". How can the other half of the American people stand to see these kind of things continue? To answer your last question about Hillary getting the Dem. nomination, you're exactly right, why would we elect a socialist to run. It'll be Trump vs Hillary in the end. Now you know where I stand. GOOD COMMENT, THOUGH!

You are a perfect example of an idiot. Let me help you with your education, or can you learn anything?

Bigot implies intolerance. If you are saying that I am intolerant of Obama because he is black, then you are an idiot. I tolerate, therefore I do not fit the definition of bigot. Remember, Obama is also half white. I won't go into that because the whole race thing is a liberal thing, not a conservative thing. Unlike the left, we don't rate people on their race, gender or sexual deviation. We just rate the person on their ethics, morality, experience and wisdom/common sense. Obama has not shown much of any of those traits. That doesn't make me a bigot, that makes me discerning.

What you say is true, not that it matters if I agree or not.

"Bigotry is defined as “intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself.” Notice that bigotry is not intolerance toward the opinions or beliefs of persons other than yourself, but intolerance of the other person. Bigotry is not simply disagreeing with what someone else believes; it is an unwillingness to tolerate or accept the person who holds those beliefs.

A little reflection on this definition will reveal that the vast majority of bigotry accusations populating the internet and in public discourse are not legitimate ones. On the contrary, they are the consequence of a mistaken view of tolerance that is itself a product of a warped postmodern epistemology."

Why are republicans not embarrassed when Donald Trump goes on national TV and talks about the size of his 'manhood'? Is this the way the leader of the free world speaks? If Barack Obama had uttered those words back in 2008, he would be history. Putin probably loves this kind of language, but sane world leaders think Trump is nuts, according to today's news.

I believe that you have taken the comment out of context. If you are speaking of his response to Rubio's comment, when he said Trump had small hands and you know what that means? Isn't it about time that you liberals grow some hair and start getting over your girlie attitude of worrying about every word someone says. I have yet to hear you liberals complain about the vulgar language on prime time TV, where teenagers use the foul language and are portrayed consuming alcohol. I have no interest or liking of Trump, but he does bring out the sissies on the left. For that, I applaud him. Because I do enjoy teh entertainment. He might even earn my vote if he ends up running against Hillary. He can't be any worst than what we have in there now, and definitely no worst than having the criminal, liar Hillary in the White House. If I was on the left, I would be embarrassed to be supporting Hillary after all the crimes, and lies she has perpetrated. I see a lot more to be embarrassed about her than a few off color remarks coming from Trump. I guess you didn't have any problems with Biden's remark regarding Obamacare, right?

Are republicans not embarrassed by Donald Trump calling women dogs and saying they should be treated like (expletive deleted)? Someone should tell the brilliant Mr Trump that women make up 53% of voters in the US.

Who will ever forget Karl Rove running around back stage at Fox News on election night 2012 yelling no, no it can't be over, and the vote counters telling him that 'yes, we are 99.999999999% sure Obama will carry Ohio and with that goes the whole enchilada'. Do you have a link to when he said these things. Not that I doubt you, but I would like to know if it was said recently or fifty years ago, and in what context he said it. Not that it matters because the primaries are over for Florida and if he gets the nomination, he will get my vote. You see, there is no way in h3ll that I will vote for Hillary. Because no matter what he has said, he is the only choice. Hillary must go to jail for her crimes. As far as I am concerned she is a despicable felon.

Trump in the 20's you say? Clinton's not much higher, especially with the under 25 group, that's all Bernie's. It is so hilarious to watch the Fox Comedy Hour (just pick any hour of the day!) and see how they want Trump out of contention.

The main word is now that there will be a contested GOP convention and that Trump will not be the candidate but a good possibility that someone like Romney or Ryan may get to be te nominee.

Does'nt the will of "we the people" mean anything? Should'nt the candidate with the most votes get to be the nominee?

Why should delegates who have gotten there based on contributions get to choose the nominee?

No wonder that Trump will run third party if he is not the GOP nominee.

I understand that Obama has been auditioning for a spot on Dancing with the Has-beens. The Entertainer-in-Chief is addicted to the TV limelight and will have to figure a way of staying in the public when he is evicted from the White House. The Obama's are planning on sticking around D.C. after leaving the White House because his daughters need to finish their PRIVATE school.

Ask Hillary about "the candidate with the most votes" since she already has all the super delegates and her and Bernie are just going through the process to make everything look legit. She's been coasting along, knowing she is all but coronated.

Trump won't be running a third party candidacy. The only way would be if his name was a write-in on the ballot. Trump knows that the "sore loser law" will keep him from winning the general election, even if many states do not supposedly enforce it. Trump seems to be losing his motivation or interest in the presidency anyway. He seems to be running out of steam, or is finally getting tired.

Even Sanders admits that the kids today have to go to college to get a high school equivalent education.
Sanders "Fifty years ago, you had a high school degree you could go out in this economy and probably get yourself a damn good job at decent pay," he told a big crowd at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison during a boisterous rally last month. "Today, in many respects a college degree is the equivalent of what a high school degree was 50 years ago. In the year 2016, we need to make public colleges and universities tuition-free!"

Do you understand that does not mean that high school courses are being taught in college?

Then what happens to the minorities? They'll be "left behind" again with no hope for a future! They don't stand a chance with REAL standards. How do you think we got where we are today? We dropped the standards to give women and minorities a chance. Look where it got us...WAY down the ranking for education. We're 17th or wherever we are because of our lowered standards.

Would you like to compare the quality of education today with that of yesteryear? You can twist what his meaning was all you wish, but the truth is there.

Before I had my degree, I was given reports to edit for those with college degrees that wrote like grade schoolers. They might as well have written their reports using crayons. When I had my first two year degree, I was making as much as my co-worker that had a PhD. I was an average student in high school. Apparently, you folks are not examining any of today's children's home work assignments or you would realize how dumbed down their classes have become. And this has nothing to do with the IQ of today's children. It has to do with lowering the standards so that they can increase the graduation numbers. If you don't believe me, then check out the world stats on education comparison.

And no, I do not edit my comments on here for proper grammar and spelling. It's just a conversation with no identity reputation to protect.

FOX cable network thanks you liberals for consistently viewing their channel, making FOX the number one cable news network in the Country. If not for all those liberals watching, it would have been impossible for that ranking. Of course, it is the only and easiest means for liberals to keep up to date on current events. By the way, FOX gets most of their news from AP, so if you have a problem with their material, you can start your criticism there.

Don't you investigate both sides of an issue?

The station with the most viewers doesn't win a credibility award?

Look at all the tabloids that continue to sell at Publix and WD. Why do they sell?

SO, you criticize anyone that watches FOX news but don't watch it? Interesting, but very disingenuous. Your credibility is questionable. But, if you wish to play the fictitious liberal character and disparage others, that's your game and pastime. Have a great day in your imaginative world.

I always answer honestly. If I say something I later regret I post that too and apologise. It's not a game. I learned a long time ago that it's just plain practical and feels good to always tell the truth. A liar needs a good memory. All these alzheimers jokes bother me a little. I lost both parents to that disease so I better write while I can for as long as I can.

Let me type this real slowly so that you can get it. That was meant to be derisive, in case you didn't get it. YOU, not them, just you. I responded to a comment. Did you not read the comment I responded to? If you can't understand that, or refuse to understand it, or refuse to admit you understand it, that is your personal problem. The person I responded to, obviously watches FOX, according to his/her comment. If not you, I have no idea why you would inject yourself into and take offense to the response. But, if you prefer to take every response as a personal affront, that is your personal problem. If you wish to continue to bash your head against a brick wall and then question why you feel pain, go for it. If the conversation is too difficult to follow, then feel free to find your entertainment elsewhere. I guarantee no one is going to ask where you disappeared to.

You can type as slow as you want, I'm going to read it at my regular speed. Talking slowly is probably what you meant.

That was meant to be derisive, in case you didn't get it.
It wasn't and I got it.

YOU, not them, just you.
That I don't understand. It's not even a sentence.

I did

If you can't understand that, or refuse to understand it, or refuse to admit you understand it, that is your personal problem.

It's very easy to follow. Especially if I address each point, one point at a time.

I guarantee no one is going to ask where you disappeared to
Since we are all guests how would they know if I disappeared. For all I know each one of the posts can be coming from a different person. And who cares if that's true?

Will this GOP embarrassment ever stop?

See, there in is the puzzle. The GOP IS embarrassed. Liberals don't get embarrassed because they have no class and they don't care. They are perfectly willing to elect criminals, liars and cheats....and are proud of it. They depend on the GOP to bail them out of the trouble that they get into. So, yes the GOP is embarrassed. Trump slips and uses vulgar language. Hillary does the same thing and there is no big news flash on her slip. Bernie IS vulgar and a pervert and liberals think it is novel. The liberals flock to be in the same area as Slick Willie Clinton, knowing he is a sleaze that will hit on every female from teen up. Marion Barry, past mayor of D.C. was convicted of drug charges and got re-elected.....a Democrat. Obama wrote in his books that he used drugs almost all his life, and liberals thought he was hip and just one of the cool guys. Hillary is a felon and a liar, and is also being investigated by the IRS for tax fraud.

And the GOP is embarrassed. Yep, embarrassed for America because of the past seven years. Embarrassed to think that we have such lazy youth in this country that they need welfare. Embarrassed because our president thinks that we don't realize that when he says he is "leading from behind" it really means that he is a follower.

But, the GOP IS embarrassed. :sigh:

I'm just wondering how anything the Pope said would have any influence on liberals? They are mostly atheists, and the gays are adamantly against the Bible or anything that suggests that they are deviant and abnormal. So, other than the purpose of using the Pope and/or the Bible in an argument against conservatives, what is the purpose of bringing the Pope into the discussion? The Pope is a foreigner, not American and should not even be considered in American politics. He is after all, from a socialist country and leans that way in his politics. His addressing congress was just their purpose of using him toward their political agenda, whether conservative or liberal.

He is a socialist
He is against gay deviancy
He is against abortion
He is against a border wall, yet has one surrounding the Vatican city.

So, anyway you look at him, he is a good man but NOT an American and should not be considered in any way an influence to the American Way of life.

And what if anything, does this have to do with embarrassed Republicans? Like the question went, who wept? You can put a video up, but what does that mean? It means that some of those that wept were shown. Why did they weep? Are you suggesting that one phrase caused it? And since when does one side get all the benefit of "cubbyhole people?" Are you liberals not famous for diverting and asking stupid questions, just to change the subject so that they don't have to add to the conversation?

If you READ the response, you will see that I said that the Pope was a good man. If liberals wish to use religion as a defense for not committing to a conversation, go for it. Maybe you liberals will learn something. But, just because the majority of conservatives are Christian, doesn't mean being Christian is a liability. Only atheist liberals think being religious is a weakness to be used against conservatives. And feel free to argue that liberals are Christian too. Facts show that there are a higher majority of conservative Christians than Liberals that claim to be Christian.

So, now that you have diverted from the topic, feel free to either go on your merry (I did not say gay) way or return to the topic. Your choice.

Is proper spelling a prerequisite to posting on here? If so, I will never be able to participate.

To answer the original question, spelled correctly or not, I would suggest that the GOP will no longer be embarrassed when Americans submit themselves to the authority of the Constitution and quit trying to change it to reflect European failed values and policies. Meaning, when liberals abandon socialism and learn to respect American patriotism and love America for what it stands for, not what it can do for them. The GOP can stop being embarrassed of the Democrat party when it becomes less anti-American and more self-reliant and willing to sacrifice as much as they are willing to sacrifice the efforts of others. Yes, the GOP is embarrassed of the unembarrassed liberals that won't make the effort to make this a great country again.

For starters, embarrassment is incorrectly spelled.

I think the question is aimed at the GOP to answer about the GOP.

I'm not in any party so maybe I'm not supposed to contribute but here goes: I think there are too many GOP members with opposing viewpoints including racism and gay rights. Other wise how could you explain https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_conservatism_in_the_United_States

I also think the word conservative is misleading.

holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation, typically in relation to politics or religion
is the meaning outside of politics

but a political conservative believes
An aversion to rapid change; a belief that tradition and prevailing social norms often contain within them handed down wisdom; and mistrust of attempts to remake society so that it conforms to an abstract account of what would be just or efficient.
A desire to preserve the political philosophy and rules of government articulated in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
A belief that it is imperative to preserve traditional morality, as it is articulated in the Bible, through cultural norms.
A belief that it is imperative to preserve traditional morality, as it is articulated in the Bible, using cultural norms and the power of the state.
An embrace of free-market capitalism, and a belief in the legitimacy of market outcomes.
A belief that America is an exceptional nation, a shining city on a hill, whose rightful role is leader of the free world.
A belief that America should export its brand of democracy through force of arms.
The conviction that government should undertake, on behalf of the American polity, grand projects that advance our "national greatness" and ennoble our characters.
An embrace of localism, community and family ties, human scale, and a responsibility to the future.
A belief that America shouldn't intervene in the affairs of other nations except to defend ourselves from aggression and enforce contracts and treaties.
A desire to return to the way things once were.
Affinity for, identification with, or embrace of Red America's various cultural cues. (For example, gun ownership, a preference for single-family homes oriented around highways rather than urban enclaves organized around public transit, embrace of country music, disdain for arugula and fancy mustard, etc.)
Disdain for American liberalism, multiculturalism, identity politics, affirmative action, welfare, European-style social policies, and the left and its ideas generally.
A desire to be left alone by government, often coupled with a belief that being left alone is a natural right.
A principled belief in federalism.
The belief that taxes should be lower and government smaller.
The belief that the national debt and deficits put America in peril.
The belief that whenever possible, government budgets should be balanced.
Consciousness of the fallibility of man, and an awareness of the value of skepticism, doubt and humility.
Realism in foreign policy.
Non-interventionism in foreign policy.
What Americans Mean When They Say They're Conservative - The Atlantic (http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2012/01/what-americans-mean-when-they-say-theyre-conservative/252099/)

If you read the post you will see how different Republicans believe in different principles.

So what embarrases one party member would be source of pride to another. Would you agree?

Again no response of the original question. I am not ashamed of either democratic candidates, neither of them are out there acting like Cruz or Trump.

Are you able to answer the question?

I'll answer your question.

Hillary is an absolute embarrassment to this country, period. Anyone who would lie to an entire country and most especially call a grieving mother and the other families that lost loved ones in Benghazi liars, is beyond embarrassment. As for her emails...what was she doing in one of the highest offices if she could not recognize what should or should not be classified material? I was just an employee who handled such documents in my job and I knew. She is just evil. She has zero integrity, thinks rules don't apply to her, and is just interested in being the first woman President in history. She and Obama care nothing for the people. They only care for their own legacies.

As for Bernie, he's just a lost hippie who totally believes what he's trying to sell. I think he's listened to the likes of George Soros for way too long, and is his puppet. The one thing going for him...he's definitely more likeable than Hillary.

For me, Cruz is on about the same level as Hillary. He has yet to have an original thought. Trump just tells it like it is without all the political b.s. sugarcoating. He's right on.

Do you see Hillary spending her own money? Of course not; she claims she's been clawing her way into money after leaving the WH "dead broke". (We should all be so broke!) Just one more lie to add to her repertoire.

With all the hired "protesters" from your side, we really are a laughing stock all around the world. You don't see that "stuff" taking place from the other side.

We talk about 'anyone can become President' in this country. Ha! Only if the powers that be 'approve', just not your everyday voter. We tell other countries about our wonderful way of electing our leaders by THE PEOPLE. Maybe we should change that rhetoric to say BY ONLY CERTAIN APPROVED PEOPLE.

We, as a country, need to wake up before it is too late. You have one polished politician in there now and you see how far we have fallen. I, for one, would like to see someone in there who is not beholden to the lobbyists and their monies. I would like to be able to see more people employed here and not in the other countries. I would like to see someone who will stand up for Americans and take care of Americans instead of trying to buy the friendships of every other country in the world, most especially those who hate our guts.

We see all these ads about the poor little starving children in third world countries. What about the ones starving right here in our own country or is that not 'politically correct'. Politically correct is killing us all.

You know, we used to be a country of the majority rule. No more. Now if just ONE person voices an objection to whatever, then everyone else has to suck it up and conform. NO! Everyone has the RIGHT to be 'offended'; they also have the RIGHT to get over it! Lots of things 'offend' me, but I'm probably the only one who gives a you-know-what. So? I can promise you, you will not see me running to the nearest lawyer just as fast as I can get there to make an issue of it.

We need to get back to "OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE" before it's too late. I just hope and pray that it already isn't.

For starters, embarrassment is incorrectly spelled.

I think the question is aimed at the GOP to answer about the GOP.

I'm not in any party so maybe I'm not supposed to contribute but here goes: I think there are too many GOP members with opposing viewpoints including racism and gay rights. Other wise how could you explain https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_conservatism_in_the_United_States
and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Log_Cabin_Republicans.

OK...answer me this: We ALL melted together...The Irish, the Italians, Polish, Catholics, Jews, all except ONE. Can you name that one? That one group that never quite made it. Has always been an outsider. Always located at the bottom of society. Have you guessed yet?

Now, tell me why. Why did ALL the rest successfully "melt in"? Indians and Pakistanis are "black", why do they succeed and the others don't? It's obviously not only skin color.

Melting in is fine until a critical level is reached. That level has been reached. More minorities are registering for school than white children. Now we're being diluted. Our culture, the culture that brought you the United Stated we have, will be replaced with a culture hat didn't create the United Stated. That was incapable of creating the United States.

The ones worrying about multiculturalism, they will be proven right. They were early.
