Are the camera's at the intersections for security or are they speed/red light camera's?
Isn't checking for red light runners part of security?

Security is just that. Red lights/speeder they mail you a ticket. Just Curious .

I see them at all the traffic lights on 466 and Morse at Rio Grand. There may be others I have not noticed yet.

They're also at the entrance gates of the village (it's right near where you flash your gate card).

The gate cams are for security. The traffic cams are mounted high and there are 4 cams at each intersection. Has anyone been issued a ticket from a camera?

Thought they were sensors to activate the lights when a vehicle pulls up to the intersection and not cameras for violators. Haven't noticed the pavement sensors at these intersections.
Camera mounts at gates are of a different style I believe.

That is what I was told....they are just censors to trip the traffic light.....doesn't mean it's right...just what I was told...and it seems to work!
