I'm looking for a loud, low-pitched, audible indicator to remind me when the turn signals on my golf cart are on. Can someone tell me who sells them?

Thanks.

Have you thought about indicator lights inside the cabin of your cart? I find they are just as effective.

I agree, I had liquid lights install external lights and indicators inside the cabin. Both left and right indicators are on the left side post at eye level. I then had the sound disconnected.

I purchased 2 piezo buzzers from radio shack, added to each turn signal wire (parallel connection).

I would recommend having both the buzzer and the LED lights installed. You can have them done at any of the Villages Golf Cars garages.

In all honesty I had not thought of having both types of indicators. Is there a particular reason(s) you elected to do that?

I checked with the Villages Golf Cars Garage in Brownwood. They demonstrated the audible signal they have and it was very high pitched and not something I could hear well. I already have arrows in my side view mirrors that light when the signals are on, but if it's bright out they are hard to see. LED lights inside the cart are a possible solution if I can't find a suitable audible signal. With all the golf carts here in TV, I must say I find it hard to believe this issue hasn't been nailed.

Buzzers for the daytime, the lights for nighttime. Personally since I am hard of hearing I would just get the lights.

It has. We bought a new Yamaha from TV Golf Carts in 2014. They already had LED's mounted eye-level on the rail that supports the roof. Very easy indicators to see.

The mirrors with the indicators are good for nighttime and for the people behind you. The LEDs on the roof support would be the best way for the driver to see.

I have bought several on ebay for $6.00. They are 2 pin turn flashers for a motorcycle that beep. Everyone I've installed them for love them. We have them on both our carts. They replace your existing flasher. Takes 5 minutes or less to install, Just plugs in. I've seen 2 carts though that don't have a flasher but have a module instead. Have someone check to see if you have a flasher 1st. I just came back north or I would be happy to do it for you. Have one laying in the drawer.

I have the best turn signal possible. She sits right next to me and says "Honey, you left your turn signal on again"! :ohdear:

How much does it cost for installation?

Not too much, and the other good thing is that it is portable because it works in the car too!;)

Otherwise, I was going to suggest the same thing you said which are the inside indicator lights.

Well I think we have both lucked out. I have one of those portable apps as well. And she's my favorite app!

My newly installed system is designed to give me a jolt of electricity if the turn signal remains on for longer than 5 seconds:(

I had bought a new Yamaha from TV at LSL in 2011, but it only had the console indicator. In 2013 I went back to the LSL location and they installed the eye level LED lights on the roof support and it was only about $50 parts & labor. It's now easy to see them when they are located right next to the windshield.

I guess there are some that actually know turn signals are on their cart.

I want to thank everyone who responded with very helpful suggestions. I wound up going to the The Villages Golf Carts at Lake Sumter Landing and getting the red indicator lights on the front roof supports as was suggested by John W. They are bright and easy to see in any kind of light. Problem solved! I'll never leave my turn signals on by mistake again!!!

I appreciate everyone who took the time to respond and help me with this issue. Thank you again.
