I have a bad back which makes it almost impossible to trim my toenails. Is there a salon where a man can go without feeling self conscious?

Believe it or not, pedicures are becoming more popular for men and my husband goes regularly. He's a big burly guy and I would've never thought he'd do it, but he totally loves it. Go for it!

Men make appointments at Solar Nails, Colony and Pinellas. No need to be self conscious. Most nail salons have male techs, just ask. More men should pay attention to their feet.

Tuscany Day Spa and Salon in Sumter Landing has a significant number of male clients for that very reason.

The pedicure area is up on the second floor where the spa services are rendered. Very nice atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of street level business.

I have never been at Angela's Nails without seeing at least 1 man getting a pedicure.

Dan, after you have your first pedicure there will be no thinking about feeling self conscious. My grandson stomped on my bad big toe while we were traveling thru Georgia and going to a shop for help was my only hope. I'm hooked and I don't care what anybody thinks. I go every three weeks and over time they have cured a ingrown toenail that a podiatrist could not. Enjoy your visit times have changed. The people there just want your business they won't judge you at all.

I was at Solar Nails in Pinellas Plaza last week, and no less that 3 men came in for pedicures while I was there. They looked relaxed and happy to be there!!

I got a mani/pedi, and my wife got just a pedi, total bill was $64, tip was $16.
Tip a little extra the 1st time, they will remember you. Try and stick with the same person every time you go.

I view $64 paying for two rounds of golf and $16 paying for Tee Time Fees for two months . I can still bend down and cut my own toe nails.
