TV hotel discounts

I seem to remember that there was a discussion some time ago about TV hotels that gave discounts with your ID card? I've searched but appear to be search challenged because I can't find anything? Does anyone know about the discounts? Can anyone find those posts? thanks.

If you are a resident you and your guests are entitled to a lodging discount up to 25% (the last I heard). I know this applies to The Waterfront Inn at LSL and Marriott Towne Place Suites at Spanish Springs. Of course this is subject to availability and probably requires advance reservations.

We had friends staying at the Waterfront...I went in to drop off a gift basket for their arrival...the woman at the desk asked if I was a resident...showed my card and she gave them an upgraded room ( a view of the lake) and 25% off!! WOW....my guests were thrilled!!
