OK, I need some feedback from the economists and investment experts out there. Investor Bernard Madoff swindled people out of 50 BILLION dollars. Who were the people he ripped off? Were they Ma and Pa investors, individual 401 K's or what? Is there ANYBODY on Wallstreet who is not a lying thief? Someone explain how this happens. Oh, and where's the 50 billion bucks?
You might get the info you want from this article:

Personally, I wouldn't let him post 10 milllion in bond until the 50 BILLION was accounted for

Speaking of billions, a friend sent this to me:
*********************
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of
putting that figure into some perspective in
one of its releases.
A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
D. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
So my question is: How in the world could anyone 'lose' $50 Billion?
