Peazoup, the tunnels aren't as scary as they first seem -- as long as you go slow and stay in your lane rounding the corners. (Just ignore all the golf carts lined up behind you. I can't believe how fast they go around those corners!)

There are three speed bumps inside the CR466 tunnel now which really slow down the golf carts going through this tunnel.

Should make it a less dangerous trip to Crispers when coming from south of CR466.

Except in the very cold weather or when it's too wet, I use my golf cart to do my weekly grocery shopping at Southern Trace. You'll find out that ther gas-guzzling car is too much trouble except under adverse conditions!

Awwww. We are going to miss Crispers again!!! The one we did get to last month was colder than a witches.....never mind. It was extremely windy and inclement on the patio at Crispers, but the folks were great and the hugs were warm. Be there next month again, Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise.

Those speed bumps could be in there for the cars. :MOJE_whot: That tunnel seems to attract a number of comatose drivers who think a full size car will fit thru fine and I guess they figure thhey can avoid thr stop light.. :shrug: But don't worry Peazsoup, it's a fairly rare occurrence.

I usually do see quite elderly drivers going through that tunnel, Muncle, but have also seen teens doing this as well. The teens though usually were doing this later in the evening. I suppose the teens could be high and/or drunk though???

I am shooting for February and was wondering if the TOTV lunch at Crispers for February has already been scheduled. If I has I can try and get my trip at the same time. Hi All, We missed you all at the lunch, we all talked about how you all must be suffering up north with the cold, snowy weather, while we were sitting outside basking in the sun. :cus:

As usual the lunch was wonderful, we had about 25 people there and some newbies. Hang in there folks, I think the houses are selling... a few of the newbies had some positive news about their houses.

DickY is going to help me post the pictures that I took today, so you'll see them shortly. I hope I didn't cut anyones heads off and that they will be presentable. Village Kid also took pictures and I'm sure her's will come out really good.

The TOTV gathering at Crispers was indeed fun and sunny. Villages 07 was sorely missed as our scribe. She is rehabing from knee surgery and good wishes were sent her way. The TOTV luncheon was fun, as always. It is so great to be out of exile and back in TV, even just for six months, I hear there is so much snow in Toronto that polar bears are roaming the city streets.

It is amazing what a good night's sleep will do to clear the brain.

The TOTV group had a great time at Crisper's on a warm, balmy afternoon. There were 33 of us! Great turnout at such a busy time of year.

Thanks for the great pictures. My wife and I enjoyed meeting everyone on Friday at Crispers during our brief visit to Florida. I had been to Crispers back in June but it was my wife's first time there. It was nice to see everyone.

Today we had 6 inches of snow in Albany with a wind chill of 10 to 15 below zero tonight. :cold:

We all encourage you to join us whenever you're in TV! :beer3: It is fun to finally meet the people we've been "posting with" for months.

The TOTV lunch is always the third Friday of the month at 3 PM at Crispers. And reminders are published.
