Is it too late to have a garage sale here now that most of the visitors have gone home? Are the garage sales more successful a certain time of the year or area of the villages? Do many people show? Several people have said it's definitely worth the time and trouble. Any opinions or suggestions? Thanks.

You will find people have them all year long. Probably more shoppers during high season but neighbors have had theirs during the summer months and had plenty of people show up.

I agree. If you have it, they will come.

May I hijack the post for one second = this one brings up a question that someone here knows the answer:
If the winter population of TV is 100%>
- What is the % in the summer (ie year-'round residents, discounting their travel)?
- What is the % in the summer of renters occupying homes left by Snowbirds?
Just askin' - my guess would be 75% of TV homes are year 'round and another 5% rent Snowbird homes --- so we drop a net of 20% of the TV population Apr-Oct. Anyone know the published stats?

I think I have read the population drops 30% during the summer. I do know a person who had no problem renting their villa for the summer, actually6 months in a row.
I don't know what people look for but I have a lot of stuff.
I may have a yard sale for 3 days but I am afraid my neighbors will hate me if I do.
