Any recommendations please for a golf cart service repair company? Ken Spano was recommended but doesn't return my calls. Thanks

I have used and reccomended AAA Golf Cart repair. Their phone # is 352-288-1192. I know several people that have used him and all thought he was very good and reasonable. His name is Larry Neuman and his wife will make the appointments.

Ken Spano was also recommended to me. I called him a few months back, but he never returned my calls.

Recently I noticed in the newspaper that he is advertising for business.

I called him today and he came right out. He was also recommended by Jim Follwell. I appreciate the recommendation.

Thanks for the recommendation Mo779. It is so good to receive referrals by other TOTV members. I have noted Larry Newman's telephone number in my book and will certainly call him if I have any problems.

I too have used AAA Golf Cart repair for annual check up, installation of additonal lights, and some other problems. They are prompt, respectful, and easy to talk with.

We have used A-1 golfcart three times. Owner is kenny dollarhide, 352-326-8965. Service has always been fast and prices have been reasonable. Used steve's golfcarts once to replace two front tires. Had cart for two weeks, and charged me $326. Found out later I could have bought tires from tire dealer for $56 apiece.

Thanks to all for the information. I have also made note of Larry Neuman and will try him when I get back to TV early April.

We used Ken Spano last week and they were great.

I called him one time to have some batteries replaced. When his phone rang and was finally answered, all it said was "Leave a message." I hope he has changed that since then, or maybe I got a wrong number, but I had no idea if I even had the right person. I certainly wasn't going to try to do business with somebody who had such a superficial message.

I hope I had the wrong number. I don't know.

The new Tomberlin dealer on 301 is advertising some great rates on service, batteries and tires. I haven't used them but I heard they are good, 352-330-0359

We used Ken Spano last week and they were great.

I called them to change out my low speed 48v motor for a high speed. Kenny arrived quickly the next day with the new motor on his van, but was running behind schedule and in a terrible hurry. The motor on my cart was rusted to the axle gears and Kenny could not get it completely removed, so they towed the cart to the shop the next day. I waited another day to check status and learned my motor had been sold to another customer; I must wait 2-3 weeks for a new one to arrive. I requested a no-cost loaner cart that they delivered the next day; it is slow and has no turn signals or brake lights working. I drove to an event at Colony Plaza on Saturday, parked the cart, and returned to find it making a very loud high pitched noise that stopped when I hit a bump leaving the parking area.

I'm happy with Sta-rite. Frank is a Villager and advertises on TOTV. They were prompt and efficient in installing turn signal lights and I had my annual maintenance with them.

I would run as fast as you can from Spano. We were not impressed with their overpriced batteries and service. Friends had them come out several times to fix the same problem. Spano charged them over $2,000! and held their golf cart hostage until they received payment. Seniors vs. Crime got involved in that one. Of course, this is my experiences. Since Sr. Spano left the business, it's far from the same.

Last week I left two voice-mails. No one ever called back.

Our gas cart needed a starter/generator. Had it done by Grandpa & Grandma's Village Buggies. Picked up in the evening, returned the next afternoon.
