Yesterday, One Blood long term employee Linda did the check-in of me and we chatted a while. She is retiring the Friday on the first week of May 2016.
Platelets went well and I got through most of the 2000 movie Cast Away and actually noticed some details I had missed a while ago. WILSON!!!! Cast Away*(2000) - Rotten Tomatoes (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/cast_away/)
Linda will be volunteering though at One Blood every once in a while.
I remember her from when I started donating blood in September 2007. I probably donated at whatever Life South was calling itself before that after moving from Palm Harbor, FL in June of 2005.
She did tell me some stories about her work at One Blood.
I will miss her. I would run into her on some blood drives as well.
