Has anyone noticed the HUUUGE change to the median plantings at the roundabouts on MB? Today I travelled from 466 to Pinellas Place and saw that the old (mostly evergreens and shrubs) plantings have been replaced by seasonal and ground cover plants.
The result of this change for me is greatly improved sight lines before you enter the RABs. I'm very glad someone recognized the problem that existed before, especially for smaller/lower cars, and got something done about it.:):):)

Should of been done years go or not planted at all. Lots of overgrown shrubs blocking vision around the villages. Roundabouts are tip of othe iceberg.:22yikes:

I had read in the paper this was going to be done and I am so glad they followed through with it. Being a short person I could hardly see at the roundabouts. Now it is great. The nice part about it is they planted more flowers which only makes the place more beautiful.

I hadn't noticed. But on this thread everyone except one had something positive to say. That is nice.
I know that it is the same bunch of folks who are always trying to make things nicer and I think I know who they are.

Thanks for your positive thread. :ho: It's good to hear sight lines are improving on the RABs.

As a long-time development engineer who reviewed just such things as sight visibility, this is indeed a big improvement. :)

It's not just the RABs. Shrubs at some entrances to CYV neighborhoods are being cut back as well. Already done at one of the TG CYV entrances. (LBJ, IRT, USA, LSD...):loco:

Also noticed shrubs cutback at the local postal/pool facility. All of this is very good.
Keep it up TV management!

Those of us who ride bicycles are deeply grateful. Much improved safety for us all!

Getting in & out of wallyfworld off of 466 is like playing blind mans bluff--those shrubs really need a crew cut

Always amazed at how TV is kept immaculate. Always planting new flowers that are beautiful.
It's a great thing to improve vision at RAB's, as some schrubbery has grows a bit too much. Keeps us safer.
