Tonight I responded to an advertisement posted by Bailey Industries when I realized the post was quite old, so im starting a new thread. Our home is 4 years old and we are having problems with the shower door in our guest bathroom. It will not close at the bottom and water leaks out when showering. It had not been on our priority list until now as we recently had guests and it was embarassing that it leaked. I know that Baileys installed the shower and figured they would be the go to people for repair. For the past theee days we have called them and spoke to the lady that answered the phone and she said the person who handles this was in the field and would return our call later that day or the next. The next day came and no phone call. I called back again and she gave me the name and number of,the perspn to speak with and i called him and left message. Still no return call. After reading the many negative responses to the ad Baileys put on here, i realize now that i probably will not get a return call. My question is who did you use in place of Baileys to do your work? I realize this is a small job but it still needs to be tended to. Thanks for your responses.

We used Baileys to remodel both of our bathrooms. Our experience with them was very positive. I would use them again if a remodeling project comes up.

This might be a do it yourself job. Look at the track, if there is an accumulation of 'crud' try removing with an old toothbrush. If this is from hard water, some vinegar, or CLR will be very helpful. Also, there are usually drip holes or slots opn the inside of the track, make sure these are clear.
Hope this helps.

If they had to make a living servicing what TV put in our homes they would go broke in a few months (providing they have money in the bank). Delays, poor communication both with the customer and within their own company make them a very poor company to work with. I recommend looking to some of our local repairmen. They are talented, reasonably priced, honest (in my experience) and they want me for a customer.

Thank you for your suggestion. The shower has been used probably a total of a dozen times and tracks look like new as does everything else about the shower. Looks like the door/frame/floor may have settled, causing it to be uneven. Probably a quick fix but hubby doesnt feel like tinkering with it. Will look up handymen and see what we come up with. 😀

I installed an aluminum and rubber door sweep on ours which has been used daily for 8 years. No leaks, maybe this will work for you. Len
