Your Letter to the Editor shows just how ignorant and blind you are. YOU can move if you do not like "the people"...we are nomadic. So, f-off and just crawl away with your walker and bitch where someone cares. :sing::sing:

Do you have a link to the letter? Sorry, I am usually pretty efficient at searching but I didn't see anything that links me to your post. Thank you.

Kind of difficult to engage in a forum if one does not know the subject matter.

To the Editor:

What can be done about the rotten elements of society who are moving in?
We have felt safe and secure until recently. Every day there are more reports of trash living around us who are committing crimes. This was not like that when we moved here. I fear that allowing relatives, with “baggage” who are staying with relatives are far too often listed as the troublemakers.

I tend to agree, once felony is committed, mommies little angel or prince shouLd be booted. Take the (I can't say no) syndrome out of the picture. This 55 and over BS is BS anyway. Anybody can buy resale's.

I have no idea whom Loura is but she expressed her opinion about the increase in crime here in Villages by "residents well under 55. Probably not as skillful as some but honest and signed. Much more than I can say for this post. Did you write it in a bathroom stall with door closed. It certainly reads that way.

I, as the OP - well, it is not at all my fault that this forum posts as "Guest" (but I get it). That said, I have met more than one person in TV who has currently had family "in situations" move in.

I also am neighbor to a home that has had police there for each of the past five days (domestic issue). First, it IS NOT MY issue as I was not (nor were any neighbors) the victim of anything more than some very nice, respectful and careful police being in the neighborhood. The police are not bothering anyone, and with luck the situation is now resolved (warrant and papers served today from what I understand from an officer).

If the woman in the paper had said "My neighbors had their son move in and he robbed X number of houses" - that is one thing. However, the Letter to the Editor was nothing more than "life is happening on life's terms and I dont like it"...for that...heck with her. That is life.

Perhaps the concerned lady was not eloquent in her complaint, but many of our more senior Villagers are not very comfortable with typing on computers. I believe she has a very valid concern, even if she may not have expressed it as "carefully" or politically correct as some of our more sensitive readers may have wished.
