My neighborhood club is looking for entertainment for our group. We are interested in finding a good singer, magician, musician, etc. Our budget is about $250. We normally have 40 to 60 people.
Any recommendations?

We love David Vece. Great voice, great entertainer, great personality. Check him out. It's worth calling him to see if he can work within your budget. You won't be disappointed. Home (http://www.davidvece.com) or 203-668-4239

Consider more that just "entertainment" - consider some relevant and interesting educational programs. Seniors Vs Crime offers a program on local scams, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office has a program on home and personal security, the Village Homeowners Association has a Golf Cart Safety Program, and a few others. Best of all - all of these are FREE.

You might consider calling Bob Lapadot at 633-2169.
He puts on the monthly "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader" game/event at the SeaBreeze every month.
He's interested in doing house parties and clubs.
AYSTAFG is a team participation game so everybody is involved. You don't need to be a genius (that's what teammates are for). 40-60 people would seem to be an ideal size. It's pleasant, moves along, and I'm sure he could tailor it to suit whatever time frame you need to fill. I don't know what he charges, but I'm sure it would be reasonable.

Actually, this would be a good event for any club from 35-80 people.
