I just wanted to share photos and the story of a little dog that we have inquired about adopting. They just got her and know nothing about her because she had to have emergency back surgery immediately. She was paralyzed. They are calling her Flurry and you can read about her on the rescue's FB page: Dachshund Adoption Rescue and Education (DARE).

Please note that the rescue has urgently been trying to raise funds by Monday to pay the vet bill for the surgery. If you would be interested in helping Flurry, they have information on their Facebook page about different ways to donate or you can donate through the Fundrazr they set up at: https://fundrazr.com/HelpFlurry

I admin a group on Facebook that is for animals & their needs. I've got over 15,000 members in the group now, making it the largest pet group for the State. You are more than welcome to post your "gofundme" there. The group name is "All Animals of Florida free & sell". Send me a join request and I'll get you right in. (Marsha Dallas)

Hometown,

Thank you so much for the offer. Just so we are clear....I doubt it makes any difference, but......it is a fundrzr campaign being run by the rescue. Again, thank you so much.

I just want you to know a number of years we had a dachshund who needed spinal surgery. If I remember correctly 3 discs were involved. She made a great recovery following the surgery and lived a long time.
