I'm not sure this is the right forum to use but I will give it a try.
I had my Iris built in 2012 and it has the small niche off the laundry area. I have always planned to make that an office. If possible, I would also like to put a refrigerator/freezer in that space. I'm not in TV now, so I don't have the exact measurements.
Does anyone know someone who could install a desk area, file cabinets and upper cabinets? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sable99, you can contact the Sumter County building department, and they can email you a set of plans for your house in PDF format. These will have full dimensions and lots of other information. There were 16 sheets for our house.
If you call home warranty, they will be able to give you the name of the company that installed the existing cabinetry, this will allow you to get matching cabinets, if you desire. In our house, there was a label on the inside of a kitchen cabinet with the supplier, make, model, etc.
This information will allow you to make some more detailed plans for your niche.
Hope this helps.

We used Gingerich for our laundry room, bedroom closet, and garage area. Very happy, pleasant to deal with.

MiCo in Wildwood. They do excellent work. They can get just about any brand of cabinet (wood, Thermofoil, etc).

I've been talking to Closet Crafters about two bedroom closets and the garage. They are scheduled to do the bedrooms in May. My master closet has already been done. He told me they don't do offices but their ad says they do.

We used Timberwood Company. Tim Richards. They did a great job installing a desk with lower lateral file drawers and upper shelves in each corner left and right of the window. Matched up to our cabinet that was over laundry tub and installed a table for folding clothes above our front load washer and dryer. It was a great selling point when we sold. They provide and install a lot of the cabinets in new homes for The Villages. Good luck we were very pleased working with Tim!!!

I called Sumter County this morning. She took me through the steps on their website to get my plans. I had many, many pages of floor plans and other details about my home. I was shocked to learn my master bedroom is 15'5"x18'10"! I can't quite figure out the size of the niche. I will have to study the plans closer later today when things calm down a bit.
The website is sumtercofl.gov, but there are several steps you need to go through to get to your home. She said the records are only on file for 10 years.
Thanks again for the tip!

Sable99, you are quite welcome. As for figuring out the size of the room, the plans are to scale, so you should be able to find some dimensions on the drawings and measure with a ruler to get 1 inch = xx feet, then you can measure your niche on the plans and be fairly close to the actual size.
