Never had this happen before. Teeing off with a driver created a spark when the club contacted the ball. Any idea why?
Just curious...

I would guess you have a Titanium driver. You are either sweeping the ground and contacting small rocks or sand or the club face or ball has sand imbedded.

when some metal hits rocks, sand, or other metal. Their can be a spark. Notice I said can be, not always. depends on what the club head hits and the kind of metal.
