Has anyone used the Villages Shuttle by Signature Coacb? There was an ad in the Daily Sun a few months ago. They pick up at your door, use small vans and assured me they try to limit to villages only. Having toured Leesburg mobile home parks in the past on way home from airport in another van, I would like to hear from anyone who has used them! Also, it is interesting to note they have direct service to Sanford for $43!

I used this shuttle in March to travel to OIA. It was a very pleasant trip especially since my driver was Patty. I happened to be the only one that day although she was bringing someone back to TV. I asked her about "seeing central FL" also as I had the same experience with another company and she said that would not happen as they would not go far from TV like others. It was a good experience and I would them again!

Click on the rates tab on the website and it will give you the price per person from Orlando. Last time I looked, it was $37 per person.

I would suggest "The Village Airport Van". We will be switching back to using them in the future. We tried the new service due to their introductory rate but it wasn't worth the discount.

The Village Van shuttle started off that way that is only providing service to the Villages but because at times the vans were near empty they opened it up to outside the Villages. In March I got a free tour of central FL because we went to Leesburg and the passenger couldn't remember which trailer park she lived in. All this while 8 other Village passengers waited to get dropped off. The driver seemed to only care about her getting dropped off and to hell with the rest of us. I will never use them again. If it is a Village Van then that's what it should be.
I hope people post about this new Signature van company and let us know their experience. If it is the same price and goes only to the Villages they will be successful.

Yes I was commenting my experience on Signature Coach. I have their card. They use the name Village Shuttles by Signature Coach. Imagine they will improve with time but they had some challenges with timeliness the months we used them. Didnt miss a flight but we had quite a bit of a wait once at the Orlando airport for our trip to the villages and they arrived about 25 minutes late for our scheduled pickup. The other service has vans that leave every 20 minutes from Orlando so challenges with departures are minimized.

We used Signature Coach just yesterday. Our flight arrived 20 mins. early from New Orleans. He was right there. He was at the bottom of the escalator in baggage claim with our names on his card. Loaded our luggage right into a SUV. We were the only passengers. He even asked if we wanted any bottled water. The cost is $37.00 per person. When we were picked up for our outbound flight, he was right on time also. He told us they are a group out of Boston and have been operating in The Villages for about 4 months. We were extremely happy with the service. I highly recommend them.

I saw a taxi car the other day, it didn't say Village shuttle it just said shuttle by Signature coach. Are you sure they are part of TV?
I am getting so confused with all these companies. Which one is the original I so often hear about?

The Villages Transportation picks up and drops off at the station in Lake Sumter Landing. White buses with The Villages logo on the side. They also offer a taxi service that will pick you up/drop you off for your bus ride for an additional cost of $10. Formerly owned by The Villages, it is now owned by another company.

Villages Airport Van (white van with yellow stripe) and Shuttle by Signature Coach pick you up and drop you off at your door. These both serve other communities in the area. I am not sure if they have a service that just takes care of The Villages.

Signature Coach was running a special in March. If you booked during that month for any trip in 2016, you received a very favorable rate. I booked my June trip at the special rate. It is my first time using this company and I hope all goes well.

I would think if the management was notified, along with the local newspaper, and maybe the regulatory agency in Florida, this would be fixed. Seems very unsafe, if not illegal to me.

This does get confusing. I am not sure if I am right about how to know the difference.......but I think maybe.......

(A) The company that takes Villagers to and fro the station at Lake Sumter is the one that gets to use the letter s on the end of the word Villages.

(B) The ones that do not have the letter s at the end of the name are others -- who did not buy a consonant.

Somebody, please tell me if that's the code for those companies that use Village(s) in the name. We have used the LSL one and it worked out fine. But I like knowing about the others, too, and I am not sure sometimes which one people are talking about.

For example, we came back yesterday on a flight that was supposed to arrive at 9:45, but was delayed and did not arrive until 12:45. What happens then? Having experienced flights that have been delayed even longer than this and ultimately arrived after 10 PM I would need assurances that someone would be there when I arrived.

Villages Airport Shuttle tracks flights and will have a van waiting when you arrive. If, by chance, they are not there, they have a 24/7 number you can call and a shuttle will be dispatched for you.

So far, when my flights have been late, they've been waiting when I arrived. Villages Airport Shuttle is also less expensive than The Villages Transportation service.

That company is NOT the Villages Shuttle and has nothing to do with TV. I was lead to believe this also, they are out of Ocala I believe. I think it's very misleading that they call themselves Villages Shuttle.

There is too much confusion between all the airport transportation companies. What I have come to realize it that The Villages Transportation are the white Shuttles and motorcoaches with the dark green letters that say The Villages so I would assume this is the local company.

I use Elite transportation, door to airport service to either airport, but especially to Stanford. In two years I used Elite never had problem.

I use the Village airport shuttle ( yellow stripe on the vans) , and if a flight is delayed, they know about it.

We recently booked with Signature Coach, and here is a very important fact to know. If you are traveling on an international flight, you should make SURE you let them know when you are making the reservation - reason - they, unlike The Village Shuttle do not have a specified pickup and delivery schedule. They operate on the basis of using your flight time to determine what shuttle you should be booked on. This is much like the other shuttle service. Those of us who fly internationally have requirement times in advance of the routine flight schedule time and cannot be limited to being appointed a time by Signature Shuttle.

I had a hair wrenching experience on the phone with one of the customer service reps. Thank goodness their call to us was a day in advance to let us know that they were booking us on a shuttle that would not allow us to arrive during the time period required by the international airline. The customer service rep was quite abrasive when I suggested that it might be a good idea to put a disclaimer or something in their online information to make known that the rider must indicate they are flying internationally. Unfortunately, there is no space or box to indicate such information and I thought it was a good suggestion on my part.

Our case was a confirmation from them that we would be picked up at 2pm for a 6:55pm flight, when in fact, their follow up call to us (the day before) changed the pickup time from 2pm to 3:30. What if we were not home to receive the call and make other necessary arrangements?

I cannot tell you how abrasive the conversation was by my simply trying to explain our dilemma. Long story short, we were told that the rep would need to contact the dispatcher (driver) to see if our requirement could be met, and that under such circumstances, it is customary to hire their coach as a private coach. (really?) Why would they send us a confirmation with a pickup time different from what they later scheduled? They need to train their customer service people to be a bit more professional in handling such matters.

Please be careful when booking transport for international flights is my message to anyone this might apply.

My wife and I recently had a excellent shuttle service experience with Signature Coach. A huge shout for our driver named "Meris." The best service we have had in the 13 years we have been here in The Villages. We have been on all of the shuttle services here in The Villages, and Signature Coach has our vote for being #1. The first I saw of Signature was a month ago or so when they were involved in an accident in The Villages. Then in the last couple days one of their drivers was arrested for OWI after dropping off people in The Villages. I decided to stick with The Villages transportation until there's more info on them. The 3rd company delivers to your home so you can end up waiting many drop offs on your way home. They drop it ft in nearby towns too.

A great old paddle-boat steamship (the Barbara Lee) that offers lunch, dinner and entertainment cruises down the St. John's River. Lots of fun and excellent food! Sanford also has a lot of great restaurants, including an authentic German restaurant complete with singing, dancing, and authentic German food. You can sit inside or outside (covered). Great little town to visit. Also try - Mount Dora, Eustis (with its vintage theater and excellent restaurants). So many great little towns to visit in our area. Something unique and fun in each of them. I love the local area here in Central Florida. The various festivals are, also, so much fun to attend.

Hubby used them a few days ago to go to Sanford. They called him two times to confirm in the days prior to his appt. He said it all went fine.

I made my reservation and after 3 phone calls and an email I cancelled my reservation for tomorrow. A dispatcher in Massachusetts told me I would be picked up at 9:40 when my flight is at 2:15. I called 3 times becasue I wanted to hear from someone local that I was going to be pcked up. I emailed also. After 5 hours and no one calling to confirm, I found it best if i just cancelled and went with Village Airport Van. It was 10 bucks more but i have used them before and are reliable. I am getting picked up 1 hour later besides. why wait in airport for 3 hours. I also got turned of when dispatcher informed me there would be no refunds.
I told her "Watch me". contacted credit card company and all is good. Signature may get there act together but at this point in time, i am not prepared to trust this start up

Wife has used Signature 3 times in the last 6 months and has another trip booked. Has had only great experiences, friendly drivers, on time, very communicative. We have also had friends come visit and all have used Signature without issues. Flights are in and out of Sanford. on Allegiant. More issues with the airline then Signature.

Yes my wife & I have used them several time since they started a little over a year ago. We have used 3 different shuttles in the last 14 years, and Signature is by far our first choice. We highly recommend them. We even used them for our 18 year old grand daughter last summer, and she said they were excellent. Hope this helps in your decision.

Signature Coach went out of business April 26, 2017

I just booked a round trip for mid-May today and the price is $37 each way. There is a green shaded box on their website that you click on to get to the request form, I think it says something like "Click here to book trip"
Signature Coach Shuttle has gone out of business as of April 27. They will refund all deposits. I thought they were great. Used them door to door for $90.00 round trip for 2 on a number of trips.

I just tried to call and reserve a reservation. Message said the service is closing as of June 26.

I need a ride to Sanford that day and was wondering if anyone else is going that way on June 26,2017
