Have you had a package shipped out of the Lady Lake Post Office get lost before reaching it's destination?

Have you been expecting a package, that was to come through the Lady Lake Post Office, not arrive?

Have you insured a package only to have the post office deny your claim because the item you shipped was handmade, or of sentimental value, and therefor you had no receipt for the item(s)?

I shipped 3 quilts, in one box, to relatives, only to have the post office lose them. They denied my insurance claim because I didn't have a receipt. They even denied it when I showed the documentation of similar quilts being valued at twice what I had mine insured for.

Another Villages couple had a daughter ship them 10 boxes from Hawaii. One of her boxes is lost. Another box was inspected and the postal inspectors placed items from another person's box in her box. All of her photos are missing, among other things.

We find it interesting that this has happened to two friends in the same period of time. If you too have had problems with lost packages, and unpaid insurance claims, since the first of the year (2016) please contact us and share your experience. Thanks!
