Golf Cart Enclosures

I am interested in comments about golf cart enclosures. What are the advantages/disadvantages of a hard enclosure (sliding doors w/ glass/plexi-glass windows) vs. the soft enclosures (roll up type)? What are the cost, weight, maintenance, etc. differentials?
