One of those programs speculates that the
Apocalypse has already occurred... during the time of Nero.

I don't believe it's occurred yet. But with the way the world is today, it does give one pause. The 2012 thing gives me the willies! Not because of prophecies. It's because of the planet alignments and when the scientists get nervous, I get nervous!

Good morning!
While I do not consider the History channel to be the most accurate when it comes to discussing Biblical prophecy, when one studies the book of Revelation and Daniel in the light of current events, such as what is happening in the middle east, the temple mount in Jerusalem, etc, it is amazing.

More and more, reading these books is like reading the front page of the paper.

If interested, there are many good books on Eschatology found at almost any book store. Some of the better known authors include Hal Linsey, Grant Jeffrey, among others. Many mainline Protestant churches teach this as a tenant of their faith and is taught on regularly.

It is part of the faith and beliefs of most Christians. As with the rest of my personal faith, I walk it more then I talk it, and only get into discussions on it when asked........but, since you asked, Yes, I believe it is very interesting and credible.

The History Channel shows are very interesting.

Enjoy!! Frank D.

I know that noone except God knows the time the end will come; however Jesus said that watch for certain signs and then the end will come, I believe that those signs have happened and that Jesus could return at anytime. I also believe that believers will be Raptured prior to the tributation period (7 years) I know that if a person believes in Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. This is a free gift from God through his mercy and grace, you can't earn this or work your way to Heaven, only by excepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. I'm not preaching I'm just stating the facts to my friends on this site. We all state how great it is in the TV, that's nothing to what Heaven will be like, I truely hope to see each of you there, at the proper time!

try googling doomsday forecasts or historical end of the world forecasts.
What you will find is going back a couple of hundred years it has been quite routine to forecast the end of the world, one way or another, religion based or not.
The important conclusion is arrived once one contemplates how many of these predictions they personally have outlived.

The subject makes for interesting discussion and thought but we should all know by now, there is no sense worrying about that which one has no control over. As has been said enjoy life to the fullest...live every day as though it was to be your last....you never know when it will be!

Since you beleve in the Apocalypse , you must be a believer. If you are a believer, you will experience eternal life. Why worry?

If one truly believes in an impending apocalypse, then now is the time to find out if the American Express Card really has no spending limit.....
