I agree; saw it on the big screen in Ocala and it was great. Eastwood at his 'orneriest' and greatest. Great lines that will become Eastwood 'classics' (as in "go ahead, make my day").

If Clint is in the movie, it has to be good. If it has Eastwood or Samuel Jackson or Morgan Freeman. Most likely a good movie. But Clint is the best.

...from the second row from the front. I got there at about 12:55 p.m. for a 1:05 p.m. showing of Gran Torino at the Rialto. I did not think it would be that crowded here in TV at it has been out alteady about a month.

It was packed.

Great movie IMHO. You watch a real bigot become a little bit more humane in his attitudes. Eastwood does a great job with this character. I actually know several people who are just as bigoted but have not seemed to have find their crisis which may or may not broaden their horizons.

I saw the movie with a buddy, and we agreed that Clint would win an award for this one. So what happened, not a single mention. Guess Clint's Archie Bunker-like verbal treatment of various minorities:cus: was too much for Hollywood. Go figure, they still have an agenda and it has nothing to do with recognizing the best. Just my opinion, and what do I know?
