This is a nice story about local restaurant owners who overcame diversity

How did they overcome diversity? Do they have an all white, heterosexual workforce?

Pretty sure s/he meant adversity. Darn spellcheck.
It is really nice to see this about a local business. We love Rae Rae's.

Rae Rae's was having a hard time when the construction was present.

They survived and always made great omelettes. Many people on TOTV has recommended them as a great breakfast place. I believe they are closed on Monday's as I painfully found out, one day.

It's always nice to see a small business owner do well.

Our first time there was in 2013. We crossed over the construction and pulled in to park when the lights went out......power failure. We were getting ready to go somewhere else when Tim said the grill was still hot and they could serve us. We had a great breakfast that morning and many more after.

I always have the homemade blueberry biscuit. Stuffed with blueberries. Amazing. Topped with Vermont white cheddar cheese, egg and truly delicious bacon. Under $5. Very sweet owners who care about their customers. I can't go anywhere else for breakfast. Excellent coffee. Excellent service!

Our favorite lunch place. They have the best BLT on earth, although they call it LTB. But no matter, it tastes great by any name. The people are great, and I'm very glad they're thriving.

We like Rae Rae's. It is one of our favorite places.

If you haven't tried Rae Rae's yet, be sure to remember that they are breakfast and lunch only and I think Monday is their day off. (Better check that though.)

They make different kinds of soup -- which I usually try because I am very respectful of homemade soup. I really like the potato salad they make and Mr. Boomer always gets the corned beef hash if we go there for breakfast.

Rae Rae's has some cooks that sure must know their way around a kitchen. Also, it looks to me like the owner(s)? are always on site, which I think is one of the secrets to the success of any small, privately owned restaurant.

Not only is Rae Rae's food really good, but the place is clean and the service is friendly and efficient.

If you have not tried Rae Rae's yet and like to find good local places, it's worth taking the short ride over to Fruitland Park.

....We also like Mom and Dad's Italian Restaurant, a local place that is up the road a piece from Rae Rae's. Mom and Dad's opens later in the day. I have discovered their homemade spumoni which I cannot resist. (Darn it.)

My wife and I went to Rae Raes for breakfast and I ordered the corned beef hash, eggs, potatoes, and toast. I have ordered that in the past twice and I never noticed that there were raw onion pieces in the corned beef hash. Personally I don't know what raw onions improves corn beef hash. I never noticed the onions before. I asked the owner about this and he said they always put onions in the corned beef hash. He told me that the next time we come in he could give me corned beef hash without the onions.
Anyone else noticed the onions?

Absolutely!! As a matter of fact I can not imagine hash being made without onions....Corned Beef Hash recipe | Epicurious.com (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/corned-beef-hash-102822)

In fact I think everything tastes better with onions.
