Two definitions
Blue Moon = The third full Moon in an astronomical season with 4 full Moons (versus the normal 3)
Blue Moon = The second full Moon in a month with two full Moons.
Next Blue Moon (1):
(Third full Moon in a season with 4)

Interesting that there are two meanings to a Blue Moon. That explains how we could have one on the 21st.

I couldn't understand that either. Most Blue Moons I remember were in the last few days of a month - second full moon in one month.
Googled it and discovered there are two definitions.
