Where do bands practice, jam, etc?

Hey current bands. Where do you practice, jam, etc. Im a drummer coming soon to The Villages and hope to join or start a band.

Do most bands play in someones house, rec center, country club, roundabout, what?

Jam at home may cause a neighbor to call the police. It happened in our neighborhood. The "band" then sought practice elsewhere.
