I saw the King on Micro Racetrack Road so I turned around to pay hime a visit. He made us try a sample and we talked for a few minutes. He is a very personable man and seems to be a good business man. He told us if we did not like the pie we could bring it back with no more than two slices gone and he would refund our money. So we bought one and he even packed it in ice for us because we were not going right home. He also said if we liked it and wanted another we did not have to wait until he was back on the roadside we could call him and he would deliver one to our house with no delivery charge. We tried it when we got home and we are hooked. Delicious pie and a nice person who makes it. What more can you want.

The American dream. I am going to have to try his pie.

We got there just in time one day in early spring. He had only two pies left. I was so glad we found him.

These are classic key lime pies.....not too sweet.....not too tart.......but just right......And not green.

The pies are a nice size. And pretty, too. The perfect Florida dessert. I plan to get one sometime when we are having guests for dinner so we can share........

Not that Mr. Boomer and I were not perfectly capable of wolfing down that entire pie within a couple of days. (Blush)

I bought my first Anthony's key lime pie the Thursday before Mother's Day. It did not last until Mother's Day, not by a long shot. Super delicious!
