Yesterday we golfed at Bonita Pass executive course. In every pond were many dead fish lined up on the shore. The ambassador didn't know what happened. Anyone with any knowledge about why this happened ?

I just finished playing there and didn't see any dead fish. Maybe they were cleaned up.

Played there today and they were still cleaning up the dead fish. The 4th tee was kind of smelly. I am sure that is why my tee shot stunk as well. :-)

Unusually low oxygen content in the water causes fish kill.
Played Allamanda yesterday and the smell coming off the pond on #2 was enough to gag a buzzard; looked for dead fish along the bank, didn't see any but there were lots of feeding birds gathered on the bank closest to the green.

That's what the ambassador said. But he said he wasn't sure.
Oh , and I'm not worked up about it, just curious.
