Looking for phone/internet svc available in Silver Lake

I'm moving to Silver Lake in July. I want to set up my phone (cordless) and internet service only - no TV. I'm confused as to what options are available in Silver Lake.

I currently have an AT&T wireless box that I hook up my cordless to. And I have AT&T internet bundled with it.

AT&T said I can only use my wireless box for my phone but they don't have internet svc my new zip code.

(I do not want a cell phone, at least right now. :smiley:

Does anyone have the scoop on all this?

You can get any good internet connection and then use a VOIP phone (such as Ooma or Magic jack) to connect your phone.

Cost for the phone service with Ooma is a adapter -$109 and then 3 dollars per month for unlimited long distance calls in the US.

Pretty simple to hook up. I just installed Comcast internet and then Ooma about a month ago. Good quality phone connection and you get what the advertise.
