Does anyone know who to contact about getting batteries for an opener or a replacement opener? One opener of the several we received just ceased working. I'm certain it's buried in the home owner's manual which none of us read.

If you're still within your one year warranty period I'd go to Warranty Dept first. No harm in asking. Batteries should not go bad that quickly.
If that's not an option, I think Ro-Mac is the company who handles everything with the garage door openers. At least they did for our previous house in Duval and current house in Bonita. They're also the company where you can purchase the remote keyless entry pads for the garage door.
Why not just unscrew the back off the remote or if no screws, insert a screw driver between the top section and bottom section and then just go to radio shack and get a battery?

Our remotes were functioning just fine until we needed a battery change. With the new batteries, our remote started opening our neighbor's garage door. And then another neighbor changed batteries and we had a three-way thing going. Really pretty funny.

The garage door opener can be opened by a coin in the notch around the center edge of the opener. 2 batteries need to be replaced. you need to find the manual that came with the opener. It gives instructions on coding the opener and on the last page is the code that was set for the opener.

Many thanks for all the information. I did also request help from the home warranty department. They responded that I could get batteries at Ace Hardware. No mention that the codes reset when I change the batteries. I just want to play golf, not worry about codes and such

The entire manual is on their web site. I had a little trouble and called Ro-Mac and in 3 minutes they talked me through the reset procedure.:eclipsee_gold_cup:

I too will speak highly of Ro-Mac. I had a couple of minor issues with my opener and they were extremely helpful, both on the phone and in person. They are a caring company that wants our business.
