I noticed these holes in one of my palms. There is a jelly like substance coming out of most of them. Anyone know what this is?

This is what a wood pecker does to a palm tree. It looks just like your tree.

I can tell you with 100% certainty it is wood peckers after insect larvae.. That palm has Rot and you have no choice in the matter..you will have to cut it down sooner rather than later, especially with the hurricane season coming.
Looking @the photos it is well on it's way..more than likely one or more woodpeckers are after the food.
Start looking for a tree person. :plane:

yes woodpeckers going after grubs,worms. not much you can do other than spray the trunk with a pesticide to try and kill any future bugs climbing up the trunk.
