If you want to spend a very productive 30 minutes, watch this presentation by Liz Ann Sonders, Chief Market Strategist for Charles Schwab & Company.
You may recall that Liz Ann was a regular panel member on the Louis Rukeyser Show when Lou was still alive. In the case of this presentation, she presents the information and some very good charts to support her discussion in a manner easily understood by all. The first half of her presentation deals with the current economic conditions, which form the basis for both the government's plan for stimulus as well as what might happen to the stock market. The latter part of Liz Ann's presentation deals with what we might expect from the stock market and why.
The following link will lead you to a splash screen where you can choose to view the presentation with either the Flash Player or Windows Media Player. Then you'll have to click on a ubiquitous release form before going directly to the presentation. I'd suggest clicking on the little button that makes the charts bigger and just listen to Liz Ann while watching the charts.
I hope you all find this informative. Here's the link...
