We are a new club this year in The Villages and I am on the Lost Cats committee. If you are interested in joining or learning more about the club, call our leader, Lee Brockman at (843)452-8317.
However, I just would like to let TOTV members know we are here and that we are a resource for anyone missing a cat. It is crucial to let us know ASAP when a cat goes missing, and you may call me, Judy Paradis, at (352)446-0410, or my co-chair, Cindy Seidel, at 553-8166 so we can help get your kitty back home.

A very good thing to do, but do you have meetings where you brag about your kitty children? I would love to do that. ;)

Hi Judy,

Proud mom of two kitties. I love making silver and beaded jewelry and am trying to get an online business going. I was wondering if you would be willing to ask your members what the likelihood of them buying sterling and/or beaded cat collars for their cats. Thanks so much! Karen

HI JUDY! I am POSTING THIS POST with the HOPE that anybody here who loves kitties/cats can help. Since my mother and brother died this past year, I stop off often at night after work to pray and meditate in silence at the Cornerstone Hospice Chapel (open 24 hours) on route 466 next to the Sheriff's annex near Morse.
I am VERY UPSET, tonight I pulled up to hear and see about a 3-4 week kitten alone and crying. He/she is a gray tabby looking kitten. I TRIED TO GET IT but in fear it hissed and ran from me. I went home to get milk and bring it back with a cup and saw the kitty get up under a white Chevy (one of the hospice patient's husbands). I alerted the nurses there I could not get the kitty out from under the wheel well and PLEASE tell the Owner of the vehicle. If I did not have to head into work again in the morning, I would have spent more time trying to get this scared and alone kitty....If anyone has a heart and time and can check on that kitty, it was hanging around the shrubbery near the walkway straight into the Chapel. I was willing to catch, foster and bring to CARES........HOPE I SLEEP TONIGHT!...:(

If you are planning to buy humane cages and spay feral cats, I'd like to make a contribution toward the cages.

THANK YOU Barefoot! I already have the cages bought from Rural King. I just have to get the time to put it out and trap that kitten...going to check tonight and cage in car but he's so young I think still nursing!!

So sorry I never saw these posts till now! YES, we do have meetings, on the first Wednesday of every month, at Odell Rec Center at 7 pm. We are a working club with various committees dedicated to making kitty lives better but you will find plenty of folks ready and willing to exchange stories about and show pics of their furry "grandchildren"! We are relatively new but we have a great president who brings in speakers each month such as vets, lawyers, pet sitters, and, this month, a pet portrait artist.

Do come!

Karen, re: your cat collars, would you be willing to give our president a call to request a chance to speak to our membership? His number is 843-452-8317.

I didn't see this until tonight.....too late to call. A neighbor's, on Bethune in Sunset Pointe, Himalayan seal point cat slipped away Sunday and has not come home. They spent the entire day Sunday looking for him. He is microchipped and his name is Sabu. If he is seen do not chase but stay with him. He is probably scared. His owner's name is Lilli and her phone number is 633-5290.
