Any thoughts on the Antrim Dells courtyard villas? I see 4 or 5 for sale on the villages website.

I know a couple from the MVP Gym who live there. I saw him this morning and asked if he posts on TOTV, he said no. His name is Don, he's a retired cardiologist and his wife is Mickey. He said they love living in Atrim Dells, they've been there about a year. They walk to the gym everyday which takes them right through Brownwood. I always liked having a cardiologist right next to me in my Group Power class, you never know when something might happen. It's probably beneficial to have Don as neighbor as well, Don & Mickey are really great people.

We live in a CYV but I like Atrim Dells and Alden Bungalows villas because they've got a more enhanced veneer and most have 2 car garages, of course all that comes with a price. Here's an Atrim Dells home, which is typical for the group.

After visiting TV, at intervals over the course of five years, my husband and I gravitated back to Antrim Dells. Two years ago we had to back out of a contract when these homes were first listed due to circumstances. However, we will be closing on one of these, now, pre owned CYV in two weeks.

We both grew up and spent our early years of marriage in an urban setting. Once in a while, we use to like to walk to a nearby diner and go for breakfast. Some nights after dinner we would take long walks and see what's going on and later grab a cup of coffee somewhere. After that, we moved to a suburban setting and raised our children. If we wanted to do any of that, we would have to hop in a car. Now, we want to be free to just walk around crowds, go and eat somewhere, and so on.

On our last visit, we decided to rent in Antrim Dells and briefly "try it on for size." We found the neighbors, that we had met, to be most friendly. Residents spoke of how active they were as a neighborhood. I enjoyed the charm of the houses- though I found that charm in many other villages as they matured. The walk to Brownwood was pretty and peaceful in the early morning and evening.

Try out a few different areas, or if this is your focus, try out a rental in Antrim Dells. Good luck

Moved from mission hills to Antrim Dells.....great decision....location, less traffic, and wonderful association with neighbors being active....neighborhood pool with only 180 homes is great...
