Bicycle Rentals

The family is visiting come the middle of February. Riding bicycles around The Villages would be a nice activity......anyone know of a place to rent bicycles for a few days, including ones for a couple little guys? We'd also need to rent helmets.

Did you call Villages Cycles in the shopping areas near Spanish Springs? A quick Internet search implies that they do rentals. 751-3443

The other shop is Santos in the Santa Fe Crossings strip plaza on 466 just east of Morse Blvd....750-4161. Here's what their website faq said about rentals:

Do you rent bikes?
Yes. Mountain Bikes are $25 a day with a $200 deposit, Full Suspension Mountain Bikes are $45 a day with a deposit equal to MSRP of bike, aluminum Road Bikes are $35 a day with a $300 deposit, Carbon Road Bikes are $45 a day with a deposit equal to MSRP of bike. Helmets are $5 a day. A day is our business open to close.


Wow, might be cheaper to buy a couple of cheap bikes at a yard sale and keep them around for company or re-sell them again after company leaves.
