We were sitting on our lanai with another couple Saturday morning. A fox walked right down the golf cart path, right by the four of us, just like we weren't even there. Is this common in TV?

I have seen many of them. They are at Katie Belles, Bourbon Street and Urban Flats. Don't seem to come out till after sun down. Perhaps they have changed locations since the article on Fox.com perhaps it all ties in somehow.
Perhaps the reason the fox went by you like you weren't there is because she had to much to drink and didn't see you. If fox was on all 4 she did have to much to drink.

Indy-Guy, well this is just great. I read your post and now all I can think about is Steve Martin and Dan Aykroyd from the days when SNL was actually funny and those two played the "Two Wild and Crazy Guys" in those awful plaid pants and those ridiculous, hilarious hats, and they were always looking for "Fox-ezzzz."

And then I actually went to youtube.com and tried to find a clip.

Thanks a lot Indy-Guy, now all I will be able to hear in my head for a while is "Fox-ezzzzz," and "We are two wild and currraaaaazeeeee guys."

(I loved old SNL, and I still love Steve Martin.)

The Developer will do anything to get the Villages in the news.... even have that tired, old "news story" resurface.

Sorry about the wise guy post earlier but I could't resist.

To get back to your thread. I have not seen any of the type of Fox you are describing. When Pelican and Heron Golf courses first opened there were all types of critters running around there. I have been told that there were many wild pigs there. Also have been told that the wild pigs and many other critters are still in the marsh land which is called Black Lake. Black Lake is located West of Buena Vista and South of Palmer Country Club. They must be mostly staying in there own area now.

I did see what at first I thought a dog then I was't sure what it was as I was playing Roosevelt GC shortly after it opened. As they develope new land the critters will be stired up.

What area do you live in?

A pair of foxes can be seen every once in a while on the walking path between BRIERWOOD and WALNUT GROVE golf courses.......One of the reasons they tell you not to go into the tall grass looking for a golf ball..
