For those who are not aware of these sites and get frustrated when calling 800 numbers, the sites have info that may help. Following quote from one of the web sites:

"When you're tired of wasting money and time due to phone systems that require you to press 10 or more options in order to reach a real person and spending many minutes or even hours on hold, consult the Get2Human database of secret phone numbers and codes that immediately get an actual, live person on the line for customer service at nearly 1000 major companies".

Thanks for sharing this information :coolsmiley:

I'm old enough to remember "the good old days" when you called a bank, a mail-order company, or any large corporation..... you actually got a representative who actually lived in the USA, actually spoke English, and actually provided a service :ohdear:

Discover is listed on there as having language problems. I had to call them today and it was announced that I was being connected to "customer service located in Arizona." Sure enough, I did talk to someone in Arizona! She was able to answer questions about Tucson that could not have been ad-libbed.

Another option is NOT to press 10......pretend you have a dial phone......
