The shooter was on a crusade, a mission, to spread "his word". They've deemed you're too gullible to know about it. You may actually agree with his points. You may learn something they don't want you to know.

There should be NO censorship. If an idea "has legs", then let it run. Those who control things want you to know no more than necessary, they want you to believe what they want you to believe. They do it through censorship. And propaganda.
