Bicycle Rental

[CarGuy]

anyone have experience(s) they could share on renting bicycles locally? We have some guests coming in March and I am reluctant to keep asking the same friends in TV to borrow their bikes, particularly for more than a few days.

I have considered just buying a used bike or two, but that requires a place to store them and the houses here are lacking in that category :~)

There was another thread the other day about this subject.

Not quite on the subject but I have seen devices that raise bikes to the ceiling of a garage (not hanging but laid flat against the ceiling using two pulley ropes). Maybe someone else has storage ideas since used bikes may be the way to go.

That store told me they don't rent, they just sell new bikes.

Hummm, I just stopped in at the Village Cycle on Bichara this morning and they have several different models of bikes available, on the floor, to rent. Come with helmet as well. They range from $15 daily to $195 monthly.
