I just signed up for the Comcast bundle of 3 that is $99 a month for one year and no two year contract. It will be turned on tomorrow afternoon.

I did not think to ask what I need to hook up to internet. Will a modem come with the deal? I used to have Comcast internet, but cancelled it because of ever rising prices, but I can't remember how I hooked up to internet.

Has anyone just connected to the Comcast bundle?

Thanks. Just did not want to have to run to Radio Shack tomorrow night. Or, is there a Radio Shack near TV?

I think there is a Radio Shack in the shopping area on 411/27 across from Home Depot/ Sams club.

Good, we'll all pick your brain (about deals and why the routers drop internet connections so often).

Emabarq has a new deal on Dish, phone, and DSL internet. Check it out. I've had Comcast and just couldn't deal with their miserable customer service and billing any longer. Quality of the picture on dish beats theirs ten times over.
DSL is at 10MB, very competitive with cable modem, and seldom goes down, unlike comcast.;)

We had the Comcast budget package @ 12 months for $99 a month installed the other night. Paid $50 for installation. It took a while to get the internet hooked up, but I think that is my computer's problem, not Comcasts. When we move here full time, we will upgrade the service, but for now it is fine, and not having to sign a two year contract makes it better.
