Too late. Think of him as an improvement over the last seven years. Also think of him as an improvement over Hillary. He got the nomination fair and square.

His poll numbers dropped, past tense. Now, they will begin to rise again. Hillary's numbers did not go up ANY.

He got the nomination fair and square. In other words you believed him so even if you found out he was lying you won't change your mind. That's fair and square. And that's how democracy works in your mind? My candidate, whether he's right or wrong?

So, my only choices are either Trump the liar or Hillary the lying, thieving, corrupt politician and incompetent former Secretary of State? Gee, that's a tough one. I'll choose Trump.:D

Is that what I said? Interesting perspective you have on reality.

I'll make it easy for you, since that seems to be the only way you might comprehend the subject. I consider Hillary to be the scum of the earth, the worst possible Democrat candidate possible. I wouldn't vote for her is she was promising me a million bucks. That's not quite fair because we ALL know she is a liar and wouldn't live up to the promise. On the other hand, I did NOT vote for Trump in the primary, but will vote for him in the general. Why? For two reasons.
1. I believe Hillary is the worst possible choice for our country.
2. Because of the Supreme Court justice issue.

I hope that I made that simple enough for you to understand. You liberals brag about your education, and yet have a terrible time at comprehension.

Sure, your third party candidate is a real winner. He said that he will promise to stop smoking pot if he is elected. He is just another liberal wack job under the guise of a third party label.

The last three elections cycles have put a face on what the decline of America looks like. Twice voters chose an incompetent racist socialist because he was black. Can you imagine the basis for one of the most decisions you make as a person is to vote for someone because he is black. Now we find voters who will vote for a candidate because she is a female. Imagine the thinking process or lack thereof that goes into such a decision. How can any voter ignore the controversy surrounding this family a reputation that can rival a mafia don. Heck they could run circles around Gotti

So along comes a guy that's pretty savvy about marketing, promotion and deal making and he pushes aside 16 other candidates to become top dog. What to do? What to do?

Voters spoke. I didn't like what they said but if the GOP elite ignore the voters wishes they are going to blow up the GOP party.

It is clear that following this election GOP will change but so will the Democratic Party. Let's hope both change for the better for the sake of the USA

Meantime cooler heads prevail and smart GOP leaders should pull the party together behind the nominee because too much is at stake. Trump is not stupid and he will settle into this position making the adjustments he needs to become successful because his ego will not let him fail

ONLY choices? Not true. There are only 2 corrupt D or R choices and those 2 are the LAST people you should be voting for.

I'm voting third candidate if given the chance. Hillary obviously no, and Trump is just not cutting it.

You HAVE the chance...just pull the lever for ANYONE who isn't a D or R. Libertarian, Constitution party, Green party, etc. ALL would be a better choice.

In the REAL WORLD either Trump or Hillary will be president.
You can choose to toss your vote away but you will then put up with the choice others have made.

I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA. Frankly, I did a bit of READING and I did not like what I saw. Actually a lot about Obama was hidden-it is amazing to me that he was able to do this. Perhaps, the reason is that our PRESS IS LIBERALLY CONTROLLED.

YET, I AM STILL STUCK WITH HIS TEN TRILLION DOLLAR OVERDRAFT.

RE; THAT TEN TRILLION BUCKS
What did he buy with that, incomprehensible amount of money???? We have been told that CHINA is our largest creditor. THE FACTS ARE that we owe slightly more to JAPAN then to CHINA. When you are talking INCOMPREHENSIBLE NUMBERS, slightly more a a couple of BILLION. THE SHOCK-together Japan and China hold just under 20% of our national debt. SOCIAL SECURITY HOLDS 42%. Whether you voted for Obama or not, you trusted him to hold your SOCIAL SECURITY MONEY-AND HE SPENT IT.

The next president will be either Hillary or Trump. Sadly I don't think either can, I don't think anyone can put humpty dumpty together again. Trump with his experience in bankruptcy cannot use that tool to eliminate debt we have borrowed from ourselves. For Hillary she cannot WHITEWATER SPIN her/our way out of this AND EVEN IF AMERICANS DO NOT KNOW WHAT SEX IS AND WHAT IMPEACHABLE BEHAVIOR IS LYING TO CONGRESS-the rest of the world does.

I believe the insinuation was that Gary Johnson was the third party candidate, no? Johnson stated that he would stop smoking pot if elected. He is a liberal that can't make it as a Democrat so he goes by the Libertarian label.

You are kidding? Right! Apparently, this board is a fact free zone. Gary Johnson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Johnson)

Do a complete turnaround, and you will be on the right page. Libertarians are in the Republican mode ie: Ron, and Rand Paul.

It is quite apparent to anyone, who is looking, that Republicans are following Trump's lead. Who cares whether statements are accurate of not? Just throw them out there to support your argument.

Pretty soon, the moving statements on the bottom of the TV screen will be fact finders stating whether Trump's statements in a speech are accurate of not. He lies so much that they can't wait until after his speech is completed, because the damage has already been done to anyone, who believes him. He is the poster boy for a lying politician.

Trump will not accept being called a loser. Of course not! He will blame the Republican higher ups. If they worked with me, we would have won. As I stated, the job was too hard for one man to be successful. I couldn't do it that means one could.

He is not going to deport 11 million + illegals. He is not going to be able to build a wall, and have Mexico pay for it. He is not going to be able to put a 35%+ tariff on products built abroad coming into the US. His proposed tax overhaul will increase the national debt, and put little to nothing in Average Joe's pocket.

He stated that 27-35% of Muslims would strap on suicide vests , and blow up themselves, and US citizens. That is 350 million Muslims. A fact checker added all the fanatical Muslims groups. They totaled 100-200 thousand world wide. He said he heard it from a news source. The news source said they NEVER said that.

Trump just makes nonsense up, and his followers the uneducated swallow it whole.

You could add the top fifty politicians lies together, and they wouldn't come close to Trump's out and out bold face lies in one month.

If Trump is the direction that the majority of Republicans want to follow, then that party is beyond hope. Idiots of the world unite, we have found your leader, and it is Donald Trump. Who the hell is going to save us from ourselves? I am a registered Republican. So, you can't put that liberal tag on me.

I don't think that you give Trump "supporters" enough credit and paint them all as idiots. I think most people realize that Trump is full of crap, but Hillary is far worse. Consequently, Trump is the choice of many who realize that he is lesser of two idiots.

Hillary's career can best be summarized as scandal ridden, corrupt and self serving, with a proven record of incompetent in virtually every position that she has held. I'm willing to give Trump a chance.

At least with Trump, if you don't like his position, all you have to do is wait five minutes to hear his new position.

Today on Meet the Press senate majority leader Mitch McConnell struggled when asked (and never answered) if he thought Donald Trump is qualified to be president.

And this is the guy he thinks should pick the next supreme court judge.

Why is Trump's family all of a sudden stepping in and taking charge? Could it be that they see worrisome early signs of Alzheimer's?

Anyone familiar with the disease knows that signs can appear as early as 20 years before onset. Look at what happened to Ronnie Reagan.

Vote your conscience, but know this...your third party candidate has NO chance, NO chance of winning. Just a wasted vote in my opinion.

Why? Because the "people" are brainwashed into believing that ONLY "one of their guys" is a viable candidate. You BELIEVE your vote will be wasted...so you actually waste it voting for someone you really don't want. If EVERYONE voted their "conscience", we'd actually HAVE an election instead of picking from two previously "approved", bought and paid for crooks.

I know they have no chance but I must do what I feel is right. Bad outcomes don't drive my ethics.

In the REAL WORLD either Trump or Hillary will be president.

EVERYTHING is hidden from you. And THAT is the problem. EVERYTHING you "know" (think you know) is lies and propaganda. It's so sad what "they" do to the people. We're led like sheep...to our shearing.

In the REAL WORLD either Trump or Hillary will be president. Case closed.

Yes, because hopelessly brainwashed people will follow orders and choose one of their pre-selected "candidates".

I believe the insinuation was that Gary Johnson was the third party candidate, no? Johnson stated that he would stop smoking pot if elected. He is a liberal that can't make it as a Democrat so he goes by the Libertarian label.

The insinuation was to vote for who YOU feel would best "lead" the nation. There will be more than 2 choices. More than the 2 crooks.

At least with Trump, if you don't like his position, all you have to do is wait five minutes to hear his new position.

The points that you bring up are minor compared to his conservative views. The following is from the article.

Johnson's views have been described as fiscally conservative and socially liberal[110] with a philosophy of limited government[111] and military non-interventionism.[112][113] He has identified as a classical liberal.[114] Johnson has said he favors simplifying and reducing taxes.[115] During his governorship, Johnson cut taxes fourteen times and never increased them.[116] Due to his stance on taxes, political pundit David Weigel described him as "the original Tea Party candidate."[117] Johnson has advocated for the FairTax, a proposal which would abolish all federal income, corporate and capital gains taxes, and replace them with a 23% tax on consumption of all non-essential goods, while providing a regressive rebate to households according to income level. He has argued that this would assure transparency in the tax system and incentivize the private sector to create "tens of millions of jobs."[118] Johnson supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

These views are the furthest thing from liberal that you can get. There was also mentioned a 43% cut in social programs to balance the budget. He is for a national sales tax on all non-essential goods. That is about regressive as you can get.

He was describe as "the original tea party candidate". Liberal is a swear word in the tea party.

I will tone back the idiot comment. If most people think that Trump is full of crap, why was he their choice for our next president? When is a campaign based upon name calling one that should have succeed? We are in a situation where we have to vote for the lesser of two evils. How can anyone describe that as smart?

Romney was crucified for pivoting from his stances in the primary to more reasonable ones in the general. Trump's hindsight said that this was a mistake and it was the reason that he lost was this pivot.

What is Trump doing now? Pivoting at break neck speed.

There is a real question whether Trump wants to be president at all. There is some talk out there that he is building a viewer base for his start of a another political news station. For Trump, it is about the money. I am sorry. I don't think that he gives a damn about his supporters. They are just props in a TV reality show.

Hillary has been running for president for the last 30-40 years. That is probably why she is still married to Bill. To describe that everything she has set out to do as a failure just isn't true. Rightly or wrongly, Republicans will not give her credit for anything. That is baked into the pie. At least in the Democrat primary, both Bernie, and her acted as adults.

I hope both parties dump their presumptive nominees at their convention, and replace them with someone that can handle the job of president of the US. It is not going to happen, but there is still hope that it can.

It does seem Donald Trump has some other agenda. Not sure if he really knows himself what it is. He will make a lot of money out of this campaign though in the future. Not for followers but for his businesses and family.

Remember this when you are looking at your quarterly statement to see what this financial collapse has cost you, not only in dollars lost in savings but also in property value lost due to others not being able to afford to retire and move to TV.

Just remember Trump saying the collapse will be good for his business since he has the two most attractive suites in the world.

He said all this while the financial markets around the world were collapsing and the British Prime Minister was forced to resign.

I guess he is supposed to lie and say that it would be bad for the Trump brand, or perhaps just say nothing. At least he is being honest. Hillary said that she is going to protect the minions from personal losses caused by Brexit. How? Talk about dishonest.

Obama needed this as an excuse for the economy's poor performance in the last month. Of course, he will blame it on the UK, since he NEVER admits any blame for his failed two terms of office.

The GOP convention starts three weeks from today with the dems starting the following week. When will these mystery candidates for president step forward. It will take Trump that long just to get his hair styled.

ICYMI: watch Hillary's speech in Ohio today after being introduced by Elizabeth Warren. Democrats now have their winning team.

The one thing Trump can't stand is ridicule He can dish it out, but he sure can't take it. Prediction: Trump will be quitting the race to avoid being taking down by two women, of all things, bimbos.

Obama needed this as an excuse for the economy's poor performance in the last month. Of course, he will blame it on the UK, since he NEVER admits any blame for his failed two terms of office.

This is so amusing coming on the day Obama's approval rating hit 56% according to Gallup. This is his highest rating since the day after bin Laden was killed.

If this trend continues, Obama will soon hit Clinton's approval rating territory of high 60%'s, when he left office. Every time Donald Trump opens his mouth, Obama's approval rating goes up.

It is something that the President's approval rating keeps going up. Take a look around; he looks better all the time to a lot of people .

Probably owing in large part to successful strategy on the fight against radical Islam.:D

I think HRC can pick him for VP. I don't know what happens if she would pass in office.

Why aren't there any conservative comedians? I can't think of a single funny thing I have ever read from conservative mindset.

The amendment only says that Obama cannot run for a third term. It does not say that he cannot serve a third term.

Hillary could pick him as VP and resign shortly after the swearing in. She has so many good choices for VP.

Oh, you are predicting that Killary will choose PokaNotus for a running mate? Well, at least they can work together since they are both pathological liars.

When the Clintons and Obamas hate each other so much, why would she choose him as running mate?

With that said, who will you be voting for?

I don't think that I will be voting for president of the US. Voting for the lesser of two evils seems to defy logic.

My right to vote was taken away from me by the parties that are putting these two on the ballot. I really don't care, which one of these is elected.

I am happy that neither of these two can get at me. They are not going to touch social security or Medicare. My 401(k) is safe, because I have my money in a money market account earning nothing. Living within my means has never been a problem.

What I would like to see is after the Democratic convention, and Hillary is their nominee charges are brought against her, and she drops out of the race.

I am not sure what the process is, because it has never happened before. Hopefully, her choice for VP is someone qualified to become president, and he/she becomes the nominee.

Trump isn't going anywhere. I am sorry, but he is no damn good.

If I knew more about what is real and what is a cover story I would agree with you.

With Watergate they kept on pushing the issue and eventually they ended up with the president. So it wasn't just politics.

With Vietnam they kept on pushing and eventually they ended up with Mcnamara and LBJ. LBJ and Mcnamara died having remorse.

With Bill, they pushed and everyone agreed he got a blow job and was alway a ladies man. That's something but not much that affects us.

With HRC they keep pushing and come up empty. I have to wonder why? Why they push and why they come up empty.

Coming up empty, really? I wasn't aware that the FBI and IRS had concluded their investigations. An FBI investigation that is taken this long to conclude certainly doesn't bode well for Hillary.

Obviously, most on here are more concerned with popularity than the most important fact. In the next term, up to three Supreme Court justices will be nominated. The ONLY important and historically significant issue with the next election is WHO is going to nominate them and what it will mean for our country. If a conservative is elected, then the Supreme Court will remain balanced. If a liberal is elected, then the Supreme Court will be totally corrupted to the left and the Constitution as we know it, will be discarded. That is NOT a conspiracy theory, it's fact. Sometimes status quo is a good thing. In this case, the founders' view on our country is the status quo. If you want a failed system of European socialism and a morally corrupt and liberal society in America, then vote for the second worst Democrat America does NOT need. Even the worst possible candidate for the GOP is going to be a better choice for America than a mean spirited and corrupt liberal from the socialist party.

Could it be there is nothing there and maybe it has been nothing but a political game, and how much of our money did they waste.

Polls are full of lies. A "poll" can say anything they want it to say.

There will be more than the 2 corrupt candidates...vote for a 3rd party, an independent. ANYONE but one of THEIR candidates.

There's been talk of nationalizing IRAs and 401Ks.

Neither the D or R candidate is any good.

Thank-you for a sincere answer.

The SCOTUS is as corrupt and paid off as is Congress and the Senate. ALL our "leadership" is corrupt.
