Looking at sales brochures leaves me questioning whats the difference between a patio villa, and a courtyard villa. Whats the difference from these and a home?

They are all separate free standing homes. The floor plans for each are published on The Villages site. The courtyard villas have walls for the back yard and are conducive for privacy and are nice if you have a dog. ALL, I repeat, ALL are beautiful and well built.

A patio villa is usually smaller, has a white picket fence in front, and little outside maintenance required.
A courtyard villa can be as large as 1700 square feet. It has a fenced courtyard which offers great privacy. (Fences aren't allowed in TV).
Excellent if you have dogs.
Homes vary in price and design from under $100,000 in Historical to over $1,000,000 in areas like Bridgeport on Lake Sumter.

the best answer comes by spending time here and laying eyes on the different models. they are really quite different.
