The District is currently in the process of enhancing the utility billing payment options. The online system will be unavailable after 12:00 p.m. on July 4, 2016 and resume normal operation after 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. We appreciate your patience during this time.

When you click on "More," you get a blank page. Would so love if North Sumter County Utility DD would enable online payment. They send the bill out and give you two weeks to pay. If you're out of town, you're out of luck, and the late fee is big. And no, we will not give anybody access to our checking account for automatic deductions.

Everybody else has ebill & online pay. They really need to get up to speed!

Don't you have to know how much to pay them first? We are frequently out of town for the time span from the bill arriving in the mail to its due date. This is the only bill we have that cannot be e-billed & -paid.

With the current system you can go online to Village Community Development Districts (http://www.districtgov.org). Click pay utility bill, enter your account number & address hit enter and your bill total will come up. Then pay by electronic payment or if you prefer for a small fee you can use your CC.
When the new system comes online I believe paperless will be available. Awaiting answer from my contact.

Just got the answer back on bills. Under the NEW system you will be able to request an electronic bill so you can receive them via your computer or cell phone if email equipped.

They do charge a 2.4% processing fee for online payment. I hope when they make the switch to offering e-billing that they will drop this fee.

That fee is only for the CC payment. if you do electronic payment through your bank there is no fee.
