Please note that dogs that go through heartworm treatment live a good long life. It is nothing to be afraid of. After treatment they can go for walks, play, go for rides with you on your golf cart, and most importantly love you.

I had a maltese once, they are wonderful little pets.

We have a Maltese almost 2 years old. Most loving dog ever. Nobody will ever regret taking this little guy.

We are looking for a Maltese, had 2 before retiring to The Villages.I have tried to call about Herringbone but no response yet.

Due to the holiday South Lake Animal League is closed today, July 4th, and will not be open again until Friday. Here is their hours:

Visiting Hours are: Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. We are closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

GeoGeo, Thanks, I found that out when I went online after I tried to call them. That sucks because I am going out of town for the week-end and won't be able to get out there until next Monday.

We have a neighbor that would love this little guy. Unfortunately they are out of town this week and won't be back until sometime next week.
