Went to community standards for colors.A list was provided. None of the original colors are available. However if you can figure out what the original was you can use those colors. The new colors are very nice. The problem is they have kept the same color for the wall.(I have a corner lot)It doesn't match any colors even remotely. We are new to this neighborhood. Our new house really needs painting and we don't want to alienate our new friends. People are funny about these things here.

I would bet if you went to the paint suppliers (FL paint, Sherwin Williams, etc) with the original paint codes (from home warranty) you would be able to get an exact match. The other option would be you could use this as an excuse to meet and greet you new neighbors, explain the "problem", and show them you first and second choices. Also, you can search this site for a very good house painter (I am assuming that you are not doing this yourself), explain that you want to match the original color, give them the paint codes and let them figure it out.
Hope this helps.

your bigger paint stores can match a paint chip.

Don't quite understand this post "none of the original colors are available"? What new colors? Most Villages have a standard color palate as do the Villa areas.
We received papers with the paint colors listed ?

They have changed the "regulation" colors all except for the color of the wall. None of the original colors are in that set. Not sure what you don't understand . Pretty greens and grays with a maple syrup wall. I will meet my neighbors. Good idea

We always get the colors from Touch up paint cans left in the garages, or we call the warranty dept, or ask a neighbor if they still have the color numbers. I have never ran into a situation like yours. Please keep us informed, you've piqued my curiosity. Len

He probably didn't understand because villa owners are usually not allowed to paint any color other than the original. We are in Southern Star Villas in Tamarind Grove, which were finished in July 2011. Until this year you could not repaint anything other than the original color of your home. One of the homeowners ran a petition around and I believe she had to get 60 signatures out of the 88 homes, and then submit for approval.
They now allow us to paint the original color, they didn't take that away, or change the color to one of about 20 choices. So far in the past six months we've had about 10 homes change to a different color and one repainted the original color. There is a current petition running to allow pavers for a driveway instead of the concrete driveways. We also had a petition a couple of years ago to allow staining your driveway, which did pass but you had to adhere to certain standards.
I've noticed everyone has used the same painter on their home. It's Omar's Painting of Lady Lake. The first home he did about six months ago they charged $1200 for a standard 3 BR stucco home. I don't know if he under-estimated the job or just wanted to get his foot in the door, but ever since he's been charging about $1650 per home. He's been recommended on this site before. I can highly recommend Investment Painters who replied just above me. They painted the inside of our home and is the most recommended painter on Talk of the Villages.

I just painted my CYV and perimeter wall. I looked at village web site to get paint color codes. The perimeter wall was not listed, I called community standard and they gave me the code which was same has the house color. Any question on outside colors I would get it straight from the horses mouth. It cost me less than 500 dollars and about 10 hours.
